Congress, once again, looks like it has gone supply side (the supply-side idea--which is that tax cuts have such a positive effect on the economy that one need not worry about paying for them with spending cuts--) Pushed by the Democrats this time around.
The Republicans are talking spending cuts, will they be able to cut, they did not when they had power. Now that they must convince some Democrats to support them to get cuts. With the accromony, name calling and differing philosophy the odds favor a deadlock.
The result will be a higher debt ceiling.

I get the impression that both sides want a showdown. They will only give in if the real power in the country gets involved.

Why does Obama and his democrats want to spend the country into the ground ?

Why would any sane person want to do this ?

Why do the democrat voters always support anything their leaders want to do, even if it's going to end badly ?

Is that from your experience as President?

"All the president is, is a glorified public relations man who spends his time flattering, kissing, and kicking people to get them to do what they are supposed to do anyway." Harry S. Truman

The real problem is that nobody knows or cares 'what they are supposed to do'.

I had a year supply of popcorn during the republican primaries into the general election and it lasted through to the end of November… and it had been pure enjoyable entertainment as the GOP went from crazy-eyes Bachmann to birther Donald Trump to Minstrel Show buffoon Herman Cain to the out of touch Mormon fool Mitt-flopping Romney…

I got so many laughs over the last year but the best would have to be the 2nd debate when Obama told Romney,“Please; proceed”, LOL!

The election results prove that we’re right, and they are wrong. The arguments made for Progressive liberalism cannot be broken.

obummer's a cult preacher who's brainwashed half the population of needy, misguided, lost souls into following him. He's Jim Jones, David Koresh, Charles Manson, a modern day Hitler (instead of killing Jewish people, he's just killing the whole country). Flash, BS, and pizzazz. That's all he is.

This is a message from the Hindenburg, the the captain of the Titanic. He does not care how the chairs are arranged, only that the MSM continues to report on that instead of the urgent issues of state.
And, this means nothing to the NEA and a progressive international agenda that does not teach history anymore.
