Word that the Texas Secretary of State's office has requested a list of the Federal Department of Homeland Security's immigration data base to check the state's voter rolls has prompted a reaction from the Mexican American Legislative Caucus, which just finished fighting the states' voter i.d. law in federal court, 1200 WOAI news reports.
