I love how the Obama supporters are trying to make Romney's words out to be about veterans and the disabled. His message was clearly directed toward those that CAN work, but choose not to and simply expect "entitlements" from the government. These leeches know who they are and I'm glad Romney told it like it was.

So you are saying 47% of the population are leeches. How do you folk get that number when a large % of the "47" are retired also? They are leeches because they expect the SS and medicare they paid into all their lives? His, and your, words are indefensible!!

No, Ice Dogg. That is not what Romney said at all. Romney knows millions paid into Social Security and Medicare, and he wants to reform these programs so that those who have paid in will get what they were promised.

Contrast Romney with the President and Democrats in Congress, who do not see our $16 trillion debt as an immediate problem and so have no plan to get Social Security and Medicare on a sound financial footing.

There is one truth that even you should face. Your leader got smoked in the debate because he has no idea what he is doing.

He doesn't try to change the truth, this is his truth, this is what he believes.

But he would have been appalled by your spelling, "thinking free". And, oh yeah, when you bring up Hitler you've lost the argument. Automatically. End of debate.

But now he says the comment about the 47% was wrong. Do you guys have a secret playbook somewhere on what Mitt will say next?

And the omly thing getting play from the debate now is Mitt wants to fire Big Bird. and that he lied 27 times.
Go Mitt

Lets get this comment into the proper context. For those Obama followers let me explain proper context.
A FIRE IN YOUR FIREPLACE IN YOUR LIVING ROOM IS IN PROPER CONTEXT.
A FIRE IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR LIVING ROOM FLOOR IS NOT IN PROPER CONTEXT!
Mitt was talking about GETTING THE VOTES of 47%
of SOME people. He was CORRECT when he said SOME of those people feel and live with ENTITILEMENT issues and he has NO CHANCE of getting those votes cause the welfare way is all they know.
LET us NOT forget the ole lady here in town that was evicted from her public housing...and one of he issues was "I wants to git my GRANDAUGHTEr on mys lease...." bet MOTORIZED scooter she
runs around on as a big ash OBAMA sticker on it!

The thing about "leeches" has about as much basis in reality as Godzilla and as much practical significance as whether or not Romney is personally a "nice guy" - or in other words about as much significance as the color of my shoes:

http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm...

Anyone that really knows where the money goes for those things called "entitlements" wouldn't spend any time on the issue. There isn't one.

You could make an issue that a lot of the stuff in there (e.g. SS) should just be privatized and not go through the Feds at all. But you CANNOT make the argument that "leeches" are some significant policy issue. To do so is simply to proclaim ignorance about that spending.
