Problems apparent for immigration in House

There are 149 comments on the KMIZ story from Jun 21, 2013, titled Problems apparent for immigration in House. In it, KMIZ reports that:

Momentum in the Senate may be building for passage of a comprehensive immigration reform bill after a border security deal was announced this week, but House GOP opposition to immigration legislation remains the biggest roadblock to a bill getting to the president's desk, and that opposition only appears to be hardening.

We cannot afford this Bill nor can we trust these Politicians who have proven over and over again they can not be trusted.
The Border will never be secure ,who are they fooling? We know they are playing us as fools.

We are tired of all this pandering.
I personally don't have to venture out to far to see the massive colonization of Mexican illegals in our area. The overcrowding is obvious and troubling, especially when one thinks of the winter months ahead and the increase use of cheap Walmart heating appliances they purchase which are known to cause fires.
There was 2-3 fires deep in the city (where illegals have their own little barrios) due to the overcrowding of attics n garages.

We need to enforce our laws and start deporting... let Mexico(because Mexican illegals are the majority and cause the most disruption )do the right thing for her people.... we as American/Tax payers DO NOT own Mexico a dam thing.

It’s taken 27 years to finally admit that amnesty with promises of “enforcement” didn’t work. So how will our brain dead politicians fix our national disgrace? Why of course, they will pass another “amnesty” with more promises of enforcement to “solve” the problem. Our children deserve better, but votes are more important than national security for our elected officials.

In spite of all the corrupt media support the amnesty seekers are getting, they still can't sell this terrible amnesty idea to the American people. This is disconcerting to the politicians who have become accustomed to the media being able to sell all their ideas and candidates. I guess they went a little too far this time.

Bingo.....The Dems are playing us for fools. Like in Calif, the Dems won't enforce ANY of the provisions of the law which will inhibit future illegal alien migration....even after they agree to enforcement.

The Dems have everything to gain by screwing us in return for future political support by the masses of foreigners rewarded with this Legislation for ignoring our laws.

Those so called tax payers would bring in 20 to 30 million more free loaders ,namely their relatives.

Citizens only have to Pay for food stamps, WIC, Section 8, Healthcare etc.......that is all American tax slaves are required to do for the unassimilating Illegals after they get Legalized. No Problemo!! It's ALL good.

Sounds like good old fashioned Common Sense and Fair play. Good Post..........don't overlook the FACT that being immediately "Legalized" and ONLY on the "path to citizenship" awards tens of billions in tax slave funded benefits to the Illegals INSTANTLY....as the Legislation is currently written.

Maybe, but here are some of the realities to that scenario less deportation due to administrative orders to prevent ripping apart children from their parents and further destroying the lives of these families, illegal crossing will continue because a sure veto to any enforcement bill without a path to citizenship would not be penned into law under a Democratic control White House within the next 12 years and beyond, the immigrant population will soar with more and more anchor babies to speed up the demographic change so, opposing immigration reform today would not only be counter productive but make things worst in the future.
