Who Are Mitt Romney's 47 Percent? A Breakdown

There are 107 comments on the www.npr.org story from Sep 20, 2012, titled Who Are Mitt Romney's 47 Percent? A Breakdown. In it, www.npr.org reports that:

Just which 47 percent of Americans was Mitt Romney talking about? It's hard to say. He lumped together three different ways of sorting people in what he's called less-than-elegant remarks.

Each of those three groups — likely Obama voters, people who get federal benefits and people who don't pay federal income taxes — contains just under half of all Americans, in the neighborhood of 47 percent at a given moment. There's some overlap, but the three groups are quite distinct.

Why does Obama allow outsourcing of jobs paid for by stimulus money??

A $2.4 billion stimulus program to support battery production (electric cars) sent nearly half of its money to foreign firms, including two South Korean companies that used their awards to hire foreign nationals in Michigan to do work that Americans easily could have done.

Obama was doling out over $2.3 billion in clean energy manufacturing tax credits that were supposed to create jobs in America,$880 million went to foreign firms. Worse still, some of those same recipients are now closing up shop and shipping jobs overseas.

Obama's stimulus included over $8.5 billion in grants for wind farms that flowed overseas, despite Congressional criticism from both sides of the aisle. In total, over half of the money went to either foreign developers or foreign wind turbine manufacturers, creating thousands of jobs overseas with money that was supposed to create jobs within the United States.

The largest recipient of Obama's program to jump start green energy projects was the Spanish Company Abengoa, which took in $2.7 billion in loan guarantees for three of its projects. Other projects importing foreign-made solar panels are, much in the same way as Fisker Automotive, choosing to make their products overseas.

Swiss-Based Landis+Gyr Received Over $50 Million In Stimulus Contracts For Their Smart Grid Meters. Cathy Zoi, A Former Obama Energy Department Official, Held Over $250,000 Worth Of Stock In The Company As They Profited From Her Department's Policies.

North Carolina-Based LED Maker Cree Inc. Received Over $39 Million Through The Stimulus And Later Opened Its First Plant In China.Sempra Received A $337 Million Loan Guarantee For An Arizona Solar Plant. The Solar Panels Will Be Supplied By SunTech, A Chinese Solar Panel ManufacturerSolar Power Industries Received A $5.4 Million Stimulus Grant Before Laying Off American Workers Based On An Increased Reliance On Imports From China. After Receiving A $500 Million Loan Guarantee, Fisker Automotive Is Producing Their $100K Luxury Electric Sports Car In Finland

The Windy Flats Project Began Construction Before The Stimulus Was Passed, Received A $218 Million Stimulus Grant And Used Wind Turbines Assembled By Seimans In Denmark.

Danish Catalyst Company, Haldor Topsoe, Received A $25 Million Stimulus Award For The Construction Of A Demonstration Scale Biorefinery.

The Gulf Wind Project Received A $179 Million Stimulus Grant And Sourced The Parts From South Korea, As Well As Japan And Mexico.

The Melanoma Institute of Australia received a $162,000 stimulus contract to supply the National Cancer Institute with tumor samples.

SunPower Admits That Some of the Solar Panels for the $1.3 Billion Stimulus Backed California Solar Valley Ranch Will Be Manufactured At Their Facility In Mexico Rather Than Their Facility In California.

ABB Inc. Received Over $16 Million in Stimulus Funds to Create Green Energy Manufacturing Jobs, the Company Has Laid Off Workers in the U.S. and Transferred Work To Mexico.

Obama threw 20,000 non union Delphi auto parts workers under the bus when the government "saved" GM. In addition GM's initial viability plan to Congress proposed an eventual reduction to 4,000 dealerships from 6375 dealerships.

Since inception Bain Capital has invested in or acquired hundreds of companies including such notable companies as AMC Entertainment, Aspen Education Group, Brookstone, Burger King, Burlington Coat Factory, Clear Channel Communications, Domino's Pizza, DoubleClick, Dunkin' Donuts, D&M Holdings,Guitar Center, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Sealy, The Sports Authority, Staples, Toys "R" Us, Bright Horizons Day Care, Warner Music Group and The Weather Channel.

Since 2000 the following funds have entrusted some $1.56 billion to BAIN CAPITAL:

* Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund ($2.2 million)* Indiana Public Retirement System ($39.3 million)* Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System ($177.1 million)* The Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension System ($19.5 million)* Maryland State Retirement and Pension System ($117.5 million)* Public Employees’ Retirement System of Nevada ($20.3 million)* State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio ($767.3 million)* Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System ($231.5 million)* Employees’ Retirement System of Rhode Island ($25 million)* San Diego County Employees Retirement Association ($23.5 million)* Teacher Retirement System of Texas ($122.5 million)* Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System ($15 million)

According to Infrastructure Investor, Bain Capital Ventures Fund I (launched in 2001) managed wealth for “endowments and foundations such as Columbia, Princeton and Yale universities.”

According to BuyOuts magazine and S&P Capital IQ, Bain’s other college clients have included Cornell, Emory, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Notre Dame and the University of Pittsburgh.

Preqin reports that the following schools have placed at least $424.6 million with Bain Capital between 1998 and 2008:

* Purdue University ($15.9 million)* University of California ($225.7 million)* University of Michigan ($130 million)* University of Virginia ($20 million)* University of Washington ($33 million)

Major center-left foundations and cultural establishments also have seen their prospects brighten, THANKS TO BAIN CAPITAL. According to the aforementioned sources, such Bain clients have included the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Doris Duke Foundation, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Ford Foundation, the Heinz Endowments and the Oprah Winfrey Foundation.

Bain Capital is a fantastic success story

Why are people counting Social Security as an entitlement? I paid into SS for over 50 years, no that's not a freebe, I paid for that piss ant amount every month. According to the article 16% of people on SS vote for Bozo. I do not believe that. In order to draw SS you would have had to hold a job. His voters have never had a real job and you can't count selling dope, armed robbery or pimping as a job.
One more thing where did that bimbo come up with that % of people with a 4 year degree. His voters never finished high school.

For those of you who think that Mitt would truly not “worry about those people” as president, may I remind you of two stories?
First .. when the 14-year-old daughter of a Bain employee went missing in New York City, Romney shut down Bain Capital in Boston and moved almost the entire staff to NYC. He set up a war room in a hotel and enlisted the aid of Bain connections to find the girl. When they found her the doctors said she might not have had more than a day to live. This is a man who doesn’t care?
And here’s a story you probably haven’t heard. Romney was running against Ted Kennedy for Kennedy’s Senate seat in Massachusetts. As a Senatorial candidate Romney toured the VA hospital near Boston. While touring the hospital Romney discovered that there was not enough money to buy dairy products for sick soldiers. Romney reviewed the VA medical center’s books to see if there was any funny stuff going on. Everything looked fine, so Romney asked the administrators what they needed. They said they needed milk. Romney made some remark about how he had learned how to milk a cow .. then left. The next Friday the milkman arrived. A truck rolled up with 7000 pints of milk. The delivery man refused to tell the VA medical where the milk came from. When the man who delivered the milk finally retired about two years later he told the hospital staff where the milk came from. Mitt Romney.
Yeah … here’s a man who doesn’t care.
Now .. here’s a challenge for your proggies out there --- you Obama supporters. I want you to tell me one instance --- just ONE --- of Barack Obama stepping up as Mitt Romney has to show that he is a kind, caring and generous American. Just one.
Awwww....I'm just blubbering over my coffee.

One or two hearts and flowers stories don't come close to how he would screw millions of lower income working Americans in this country. It would be a cold day in hell before Mitt Romney would give a damn about people struggling in this country. He's already made that clear out of his own mouth.

It is now known that Barack was responsible for the release of the Taliban detainee at Guantanamo who planned the US Libyan consulate attack.

THIS IS ALL AMERICANS OF ALL PERSUASIONS AND INCOME NEED TO KNOW. Barack's right hand terrorist is Valerie Jarrett, Iranian born Chicago slum lord.

America unsafe under the Traitor Empty Chair

Former detainees at Guantanamo Bay might have been behind the consulate attack, and it is known that President Obama released some detainees to negotiate with the Taliban.

“What a debacle it has been for the Obama administration and how interesting, sadly interesting, it is that they have managed to turn this into a Romney gaffe, when clearly it was our U.S. embassy who laid blame for the video.

“All they were talking about on their official website and through Twitter was oh, this film is inciting bigotry and discrimination and hatred. Finally, the Obama administration is waking up to what everyone knew. This was not a coincidence that [it happened on] the anniversary of September 11, that there are people out there who want to kill Americans and we have to confront our enemies. That’s what this administration is never willing to do.”

There is a report that former detainees at Guantanamo Bay might have been behind the consulate attack, and it is known that President Obama released some detainees to negotiate with the Taliban.

Asked if that was a mistake, the congresswoman responds:“What we’ve seen is that this is one fumble after the next.

Forget THE CONSTANT LIES AND SPIN BY THE PROFESSIONAL MEDIA.

Forget EVERY HEADLINE OR SEEMINGLY TRUE STORY. None are true. Even Romney's hidden video was altered to leave out significant portions explaining his comments.

THE MEDIA IS AT FAULT FOR PUSHING BARACK ON AMERICANS.

SHUT IT OFF. DON'T BELIEVE A SINGLE WORD.

IT IS ESSENTIAL WE TELL EVERYONE TO SHUT OFF BELIEVING ANYTHING FROM MEDIA. BLACK OUT.

The only truth, and everything else Barack does to damage the economy except when election is here, follows from his agenda to destroy America for Islam. THIS IS ALL AMERICANS NEED TO KNOW. He must be REMOVED FROM OFFICE 2012.
