How would she review cases from home. Seems a bit of a security risk from hackers or Atifa people.

FDR tried to institute an age limit of I believe 70 on the members, but it was really politically motivated (he feared that his New Deal stuff would be declared illegal, and he wanted to load the Court) and it didn't happen.

I'm sorry, but an 85 year old is RARELY unaffected by the ravages of time and age. If they are still cognizant they can do something else. How about 75? Would that be OK?

The justices usually have security and I'm sure all her employees are probably thoroughly vetted. You do have a valid point though.

There are those that seem unaffected by the ravages of time. The British mathetician and philosopher comes to mind. Albert Schweitzer operated his hospital until his early 90s.

FDR nearly lost an election over his attempt to pack the court. It cost him points with southern democrats big time.

You are an idiot. The President didn't just stay home, because it rained in France. They couldn't use the helicopters, and there was a security risk for him to use the cars. He went the following day, and everything was fine. It is getting juvenile for the anti-Americans to make a big deal out of every move the President makes.

You hate to see an 85 year old fall and break something. Many times it's a sign the end is nearing.

Really? How did the others get there? The most expensive military in the universe couldn't figure out how to fly a Helicopter in the rain?

The dear Justice should stay home as long as she needs.
I for one would not care if she never came back.

Every President, every politician, and every human being tells lies and engages in acts of hypocrisy. But Barack Obama does these things to a far greater degree ...

Reality check:
There was a time, not too long ago, when you could work 40 hours a week, retire at 60 with pension. Today, 40 hours a week is barely covering rent and food and our (fake) President brags about it.

Right you are! The sissy in chief once again showed his disdain for those that actually sacrificed for this country. It's telling that leaders from other nations attended various ceremonies in the rain. I was pretty po'd because my grandfather was wounded in the Argonne offensive of 1918.

President Trump already has the short list for decrepit old Ruthie's replacement. Supposedly the pick will be a a female, and the most conservative Justice on the SCOTUS.

Same thing happened to my grandmother. One day healthy as a horse until she fell and broke some ribs. Within 6 months she was in a nursing home eating mashed peas through a straw. Usually loss of balance and brittle bones are a sign of a much more serious condition at age 85.
