Obama plans 'full-court press' to sway Congress on Syria

Sep 7, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Reuters

President Barack Obama will take his case for military action in Syria directly to the American people next week, stepping up his campaign to convince a deeply skeptical Congress to back strikes against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces.

I don't care what Obama or anyone else has to say for making their case for attacking Syria.

It's a bad idea that will only escalate into something "clusterf^ckish".

So when is he going to convene full court press to sway congress into extraditing that paedophile Ratzinger to stand trial for crimes against humanity? Tens of thousands of innocent children across the planet, that we know of, raped and butchered at the hand of his paedophile priests and Bishops in the name of the not so holy church of Satan!
Right, not a good vote winner that one. Alienating half the population. Ratzinger no longer has diplomatic immunity as he is no longer the head of that heinous micky mouse state. Who lives amongst us indeed!
When will he sway congress into intervening into some of the poorest countries in the planet where genocide is a daily occurrence? Oh right, No jewish interests to protect and no oil, so no c@nt to pay us!
USA, it is really time you came of age and stop being a jew puppet, stop being driven by greed and self interest and be the democracy that you claim to be, otherwise you will continue to be seen as the pariah state of the world and there is only one ending to that!

Obozo is probably wishing now that he hadn't told so many lies about Fast & Furious, ObamaCare, Benghazi, the IRS, email snooping, etc, etc.

But once your credibility is gone you don't just get it back by speaking louder & longer. Liars are not trusted, no matter what the topic.

Why the hell would that matter?

Teabaggers thought Bush was being truthful about Iraq and STILL defend his incompetency and "credibility".

"But once your credibility is gone you don't just get it back by speaking louder & longer".

See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda." --George Bush -- Greece, N.Y., May 24, 2005

Worked on teabaggers then.

Works on them now.

I think you have a point there, just not sure what it is. So if you know a successful liar who got his way, we should give another liar his way as well? Is that what you're saying?

That means if gypsies offer to recoat your driveway and you hire them, then the phony roofers should visit you next, cause you're ripe for being a sucker. Is that what you are telling us?

It turned out there were no WMD's in Iraq. So now we should believe Obama....cause?.... of what? That he's a better liar? That he's not as good a liar? That liberals don't tell lies?

Please enlighten us.

IMO: Obama's credibility has suffered more from the machinations of past presidents''interventions' than from his own doing.

"Cameron said Britain and other Western nations could not ‘contract out our foreign policy, our morality, to the potential of a Russian veto’."

Yet we sell out our foreign policy to foreign interests all the time.

A curious set of standards Cameron has.

Well, given the choice of him or Mitt Romney, with Bibi Netanyahoo as Secretary of Defense, not much that could have been done otherwise.

So you are blaming Obama's lack of believability on Bush!?!? LOL! That's rich. After five years Obama cannot even escape the merest shadow of Bush? LOL!

Nice try, no cigar. Obama has had five years to establish some sort of record. That record is pretty clear: Fast & Furious, IRS corruption, NSA domestic spying, Benghazi lies. The list goes on & on. Now he needs to appear honest and, DUHHHH!, nobody buys it.

Not even a sizable minority of Democrats, Obama's own party, buy his Syria talking points. That's his OWN folks! Not to mention those that are coming along reluctantly ONLY because it's Obama and they don't want to admit they think he's wrong.

Obama dug this hole all on his own. Bush left a long time ago. Did he leave behind a shovel? Sure, but Odumbo didn't have to pick it up and start digging, did he?

Funny how those regressive progressives are so eager to have he US fight on the side of the terrorists, we don't know if Assad used any chemical weapons, but we know for sure the muslim terrorists have.

This mess is all of Obama's making, he wasted 1 billion 8 hundred million dollars turning Egypt upside down, then they took good weapons from Egypt and went on to Libya and turned that into a mess, but that is were the muslim brotherhood laid their hands on chemical weapons, Obama had the state department work with Turkey so those weapons would be allowed to travel through Turkey into Syria.

If you look at the facts this has nothing to do with the chemical weapons, this is about putting the entire middle east in the hands of the muslim brotherhood, of course if the messiah is dumb enough to go it alone we are sure to be spanked by the Russians, what will the messiah say when the Russians sink a couple of our ships, they can do that easily.

The REAL reason a bunch of liberals are chomping at the bit to start another war? BECAUSE IT'S NOT IN OUR NATIONAL INTEREST!

That's right: liberals think a war can ONLY be moral if it is NOT in our interest, but rather being fought on somebody else's behalf. That can be true even if the ones were fighting for are fairly unsavory themselves.

And that is the TRUTH!
