Attorney General to Classify Pro-Life, Pro-Gun Americans as Terrorists

There are 4431 comments on the www.newswithviews.com story from Jul 5, 2009, titled Attorney General to Classify Pro-Life, Pro-Gun Americans as Terrorists. In it, www.newswithviews.com reports that:

An amendment to a bill swiftly moving through the US Congress will allow the Obama Administration's Attorney General to classify Americans as domestic terrorists if they are pro-life, pro-gun and anti-big government.

Impeached Florida judge -- now a Democrat Party member of the House of Representatives -- Rep. Alcee Hastings introduced what some claim is a disturbing piece of legislation. Hasting's amendment calls for the Attorney General to have discretion over who is called a terrorist and what groups will be treated as terrorist groups.

Individual Gun ownership in the United States for personal protection should be considered a social and personal behavioral disorder. Nowhere in History in any serious social discourse are individual weapons for personal protection given any credence for the social organization of a particular group of people. In fact, they are scorned upon as a reflection of something out of the normal, as uncivil, as a sign of chaos, as non-conformity and a general lack of a rational social organization.
In the modern society people go about their tasks without any concern for their general welfare, like someone doing them bodily harm or any other threatening behavior. In a modern society people should feel safe and their well being insured by the social principles that govern each and every individual in this social situation.
It’s easy to translate the advanced social behavioral diseases that manifest themselves from the lack of social norms to the Psychosis of the individual to the overall behavior of society in general. An example of psychotic behavior is where an individual has a firearm in their possession for “protection,” this firearm is more likely to kill a family member than someone who may be a threatening force to the person, something the Gun Lobbyists don’t like to talk about.
Individual Gun Ownership is only a symptom of something seriously wrong with the general overall social thinking. The key is why do people act why they do act? Are the leaders facing the social situation squarely? Is the philosophy for governing sound? Do we know where the future lies, in the sense where do we go from here, as a society? Is there Democracy, so individual guns are unnecessary?
In China we’ve seen what’s happening in the United States many, many times in our history. In a directionless social philosophy that doesn’t work anymore and an old ossified leadership whose only interest is to cling to power, even as the social manifestations all point to the future as a general decline into a chaotic social situation, the answer is not in individual protection but as a general social recognition of contradictions that manifest themselves into an unsocial and uncivil behavioral situation..
That is the answer.
Interesting. Brings out a different point of view. The idea that many seem to think they are not safe unless they have guns in their house does seem to be a regression to more primative era of American Society. I have lived for 60 years. The only time I felt my life was threatened I was able to negotiate myself out of the situation without a gun. Are there any statistics on what percentage of people have actually had no other choice but to use a weapon kept in their home to actually engage another person who was attempting to harm a family member? I bet the figures are very low.

This is fun, why did you avoid an answer as to 'Obama's terrorist tendencies, and 'answer' by re-posting very lucid information about our President's common sense stance on gun ownership?
Are you in favour of illegal gun sales?
That's a direct and easily-answered question?
There comes a time when people should admit that the excesses of the past cannot be sustained... The number of guns in the USA rivals (only slightly behind) the number of US citizens... which makes investments in future prison corporations a no-brainer for investors without ethics...

"Obama's terrorist tendencies"?
Just so as I can play your 'fun' game to, how about, his not pulling ALL US troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan immediately. I was told over and over by the left that Bush was a terrorist for these wars, and that there was blood on his hands for the (insert what ever made up number you prefer, the Lancets are ridiculously high) deaths in those countries. I mean if the events of 9/11 were started under bin-Laden, and he died, and al-Zawahiri didn't just stop them immediately, wouldn't al-Zawahiri be just as responsible for the dead as bin-Laden, even though it was started by bin-Laden?
Hence any dead in those countries, wouldn't the blood of those 'terrorist' acts now be on Obama's hands?

"Are you in favour of illegal gun sales?"

Are you stupid? No.

"That's a direct and easily-answered question?"

I just want to point out that simply because the word 'question' is in the sentence, does not mean it has to end with a question mark.(Hint: that was a statement, not a question, hence should end with a period.)

"which makes investments in future prison corporations a no-brainer for investors without ethics"

If one recognizes a growth industry, how is it immoral to invest in it? Unless one is actively engaged encouraging further criminality in society (and supporting the 2nd amendment simply does not count), then tell me how you come to the idea that for an investor to put his money into an industry that even you are able to recognize as a growth industry is unethical?
Ever taken an ethics class?

Awww. Come on! Don't act like China is some kind of modern utopia. It's true there are areas that are well developed, and modern, but the majority of China is practically medieval.
Oh and where modernity has touched your country it is done with very little concern for the encvironment. When I worked in China the air pollution literally made me sick. I got eye infections, and flu-like symptoms constantly. When I was asked to sign up for a new contract I declined, and left. I have never been so happy to leave a country.
...and then there is the inherent arrogance of the Chinese people themselves. Their attitude puts the cliche of the "ugly American" to shame.
Finally with regard to the 21st century. I would like to point out that Americans on Topix can support our government, or openly criticize it without any concern for repercussions. Can you say that Deng?...go ahead...criticize the Chinese government on the internet...I dare you.
Well, budd, duuhhh, yaaaa, call your king a child molesting prick that should be in jail, I dare you. And have the king tell his ugly wife to stop running all the child sex rings too.

How do you propose to pay for more jail space and more LEO's? I will ask you the same question maria is avoiding. How much are you willing to give up to the government in order to obtain this unrealistic goal you have? Name a percentage. Will you give up 50 %, or 65% or 70 % of your income in to control the populace?
Do you think the sacrifice of the second amendment is worth it? Would you feel the same if the first is the one being sacrificed to 'save' people from their own stupidity?
I'd end the useless, fantastically expensive and failed "war" on drugs. The revenue saved from that would surely pay for more LEO's and our prisons would stop being overfilled with harmless dope smokers, so there'd be plenty of space.

So having an opinion other than 'obama is the answer' is a threat to the security an prosperity of this country?
Do you know how un-American that sounds?
No, but anyone who calls for our President to fail (before he's even done anything) is a threat. Anyone who calls for the assasination of elected officals or someone performing a legal and approved procedure is a threat.

Everyone on my list is guilty of one or more of the above.

I don't like everything Obama does, but I am sick to death of these people lying and encouraging violence.

It would solve quite a bit of the guns in the hands of criminals problem.

First, it is the Islamic Ummah.
Second, Nazism is Fascism not Socialism.
Third, are you honestly positing that Obama has plans to kill all but the one percent or so of the American population that is Muslim?
