The head of the V. A. or some organization affiliated with Veterans resigned just recently due to a huge scandal involving squandering and misuse of billions of dollars.

There hasn't been a peep about this from Moochelle Obama or Jill Biden who claim to be so involved with military families.

How long has this person been squandering and misusing dollars. I never saws an article in the paper about this. Do you have the name of the person ... I would like to investigate this story myself.

I know that the Obama administration has been cracking down on Medicare fraud amongst doctors (several were caught having defrauded Medicare by over $400 million dollars). Maybe the administration is also cracking down on fraud within Veterans' organizations as well.

Obama pays price for ducking the questions

By Dana Milbank,
Published: October 4
DENVER

Barack Obama received a valuable reminder in his drubbing at Wednesday night’s debate: He is a president, not a king.

In the hours after the Republican challenger Mitt Romney embarrassed the incumbent in their first meeting, Obama loyalists expressed puzzlement that the incumbent had done badly. But Obama has only himself to blame, because he set himself up for Wednesday’s emperor-has-no-clothes moment.

For the past four years, he has worked assiduously to avoid being questioned, maintaining a regal detachment from the media and other sources of dissent and skeptical inquiry.

Obama has set a modern record for refusal to be quizzed by the media, taking questions from reporters far less often than Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and even George W. Bush. Though his opponent in 2008 promised to take questions from lawmakers like the British prime minister does, Obama has shied from mixing it up with members of Congress, too. And, especially since Rahm Emanuel’s departure, Obama is surrounded by a large number of yes men who aren’t likely to get in his face.

That's not the sign of a strong manager at work nor a good leader of the free world. In fact, it usually signifies an unwillingness to answer tough questions or face reality.

1. This trip was unnecessary. 13 year olds do not need a spring break.
2. This selfish kid took 12 friends along.
3. They went to Mexico at a time when we were being warned not to go because it was too dangerous.
4. This trip was enormously expensive = another Obama extravaganza. The parents should pay every penny and that includes the Obamas! Why should the taxpayers have to pay a dime to entertain the Obama brats? And certainly not TWELVE FRIENDS!
5. This is an excellent example showing the Obamas care less about the economy and the taxpayers. Google Michelle Obama all this for a damned flag!
6. The Obamas tried to keep this trip quiet and removed articles from the Internet, saying "it didn't look right." Well that's for sure and there is something awfully fishy going on with those people. Were any guns taken into Mexico as part of Operation Fast and Furious? These kids could all be accomplices...acting as MULES.
7. This is a very bad example of parenting. Michelle Obama announced right after the election that she was going to be Mom-in-Chief when asked what her plans were.
She has spent millions on vacations where she included her mother and her mooching relatives. They all need to pay us back! She has spent millions on clothes. An ACCOUNTING is needed to insure the Obamas are not spending one penny of the taxpayers money on their gluttony and other indulgences that are not properly allowed for as a perk of the office! Not one red cent more! They are wealthy in their own right. They can spend their own money however they wish but not one cent of ours or they are stealing!
Michelle Obama has also WASTED millions by her frequent tv and other appearances where she probably is in violation of the campaign laws. These trips need to be paid for out of his campaign fund but I don't think they are.
Obama reminds me of Jim Jones as well as Rev. Wright. His followers act just like cult members.
u are a racist bastard. Wuts worse is u don't even try to hide it. Wuts the problem? U mad cuz they are the best looking family in the white house by far. & that family happens to be black. Or maybe u mad cuz Michelle looks better than ur wife & the kids look better than ur kids. Wut cuz Michelle dont dress like she from the 50s that makes her a ho huh? U really ain't got nuttin on them so now u wanna talk about thee president using kids to smuggle guns on a cia mission thats been over for how long now. All them old ass white men thats been in office doing alot more vacationing the Obamas. Shit bush was on vacation for eight years & I bet u didnt have nuttin 2 say. U still believe reagan was a good president after all the bullshit wit him & operation contraband. I'm not even gon go into his racist ass either. That fact remains Barack Obama is the most liked president outside of america. We would've been in war if it wasn't for Barack. Ya'll white hill billys, red necks, skin heads, racists ect better recognize. It's a new day in america. Ya'll dont run shit nomore. U never should've been. but u can guarantee u won't again!

Why was Obama Run Over by Mitt Romney?

This insularity led directly to the Denver debacle: Obama was out of practice and unprepared to be challenged. The White House had supposed that Obama’s forays into social media — town hall meetings with YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and the like — would replace traditional presidential communication. By relying on such venues, Obama’s argument skills atrophied, and he was ill-equipped to engage in old-fashioned give and take.

Obama should remember Denver as a warning: He does himself no favors by hiding from tough questioning.

Towson University political scientist Martha Kumar, who keeps a running tally of Obama’s media appearances, tells me he has had 19 solo news conferences in the White House as of Sept. 30. That compares to 26 for Ronald Reagan at the same point in his presidency, 59 for George H.W. Bush, and 31 for Bill Clinton. Obama had more formal news conferences than George W. Bush (13), but Bush engaged in many more informal Q&A sessions with reporters: 340 at this stage in his presidency to Obama’s 105.(Clinton had 585 at this point, the elder Bush had 309 and Reagan had 135.)

Obama hasn’t held a full-fledged news conference at the White House since March. After a Cabinet meeting in July, a reporter tried to ask him whether new gun laws were needed after the Colorado shooting — and Obama brushed off the inquiry with a joke.

We now know Obama is the Joke.

I heard Lord Obama's advertisement on TV claiming that everything Romney proposes will bankrupt the nation, run up the debt, etc.

But everybody knows OBAMA RAN UP OVER FOUR TRILLION IN NEW DEBT in less than 4 years.

It occurs to me that Lord Obama's marketing people have a challenge: how do you attack Romney with lies when your boy wonder is an epic failure?

Obama is a Duck or at least ducks real questions early and often

In lieu of taking hard questions, Obama has opted for gauzy, soft-focus interviews with the likes of “Entertainment Tonight,” gentle appearances on late-night comedy shows, kid-glove satellite hits with regional TV stations, and joint appearances with the first lady where questions are certain to be gentle. Tough questions are rare in one-on-one interviews, because Obama has more control over the topic — and the interviewer wants to be invited back.

The problem of president-in-the-bubble isn’t unique to this one. As Democrats were quick to point out Wednesday night, other incumbent presidents — Jimmy Carter, Reagan and both Bushes — did poorly in their first debates. One former Obama White House official directly attributed Obama’s diminished debating skills to four years in the White House removed from verbal sparring.

Obama’s body language conveyed a sense that he felt it beneath him to be sharing a stage with Romney. The Republican National Committee released a video Thursday morning titled “Smirk” that showed Obama’s reaction to Romney’s barbs (eyes downcast, lips pursed, taking notes). He frequently tossed in phrases that indicated annoyance with the proceedings, which he thought were covering old ground (“We’ve had this discussion before.. .&#8201 ;. As I indicated earlier.. .&#820 1;. ”).
