Once again President Obama has brilliantly blocked the right into a corner… they were on here saying he can’t go without congressional approval… and now they are saying he needs congress to hold his hand through this.

LOL, I love it… get ready to laugh as the tea-baggers wait to see what the talking point are now that Obama has dumped Syria in their lap. The disgust cripple Charles Krauthammer almost fell out of his little wheelchair when Obama slapped him with his decision on Syria, LOL!

It will be interesting to see if the "conservative" RINO GOP TEA Birthers will approve spending and incurring more debt to go to war.

Patty has a point, it's now up to Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the democrats to decide for Obama.
Nothing passes without Harry's approval.

You're right and it is an interesting predicament Boehnor and the TEA Birthers find themselves in. They've been beating the war drum over and over again with Syria. And now that it has come to their plate, are they willing to cause us to incur more war debt when they haven't even paid down Iraq yet? Now that reality is here, it will be interesting to see if the RINO TEA Birthers stand by their "cut government spending" hard line stance.

Can't blame the Republicans for that.
They would much rather have Obama make that
decision by himself, then if it goes badly he
gets all the blame. They will be praying tomorrow
in their Republi9can churches that it goes badly.

Treason in the church?

Who woudda thunk?

I think Congress is saying NO you axxholes. Obama shot his big mouth off, trying to act all tough, and syria called his bluff on it, now they know what a Wimp he is and coward. Just so Obama can save face, he wants to get us in a war, that we have no business in.

President Obama is doing the right thing instead of going in guns a blazin' with cowboy democracy.

Idiots like you who call a President a "wimp" and a "coward" for not going into war are responsible for the massive casualties and debt incurred by Iraq. Please learn from your mistakes.

This is fun to see the Coward backed in to a hole, whether or not to let the WORLD see what a snake he is. Wouldn't mind them all laughing at Obama, but he's dragging us down with him. He's gotta walk away with tail between legs.

Except for the fact that that was precisely what he was going to do. But now that he has made a fool out of himself by making threats that he lacks the courage to back up, he throws the ball in Obama's court where Boehner and his ilk can further highlight his fecklessness. The long this goes on without a strike the weaker Obama appears.

Nobody is calling Obama a wimp and a coward for not going to war.
Many do call him a wimp and a coward for making threats without the guts to back them up.
Better he kept his big mouth shut rather than draw a red line.
Better he kept his mouth shut rather than say that line has been crossed.
Better his SecState kept his big mouth shut rather than say the evidence is undeniable.

Now, even more say he's a fool.

You may be many things (none of them good) but one thing that you are certainly not is intuitive. As the American author Greg King wrote: "Don’t argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

So have a good time down at the Coconut Grove gay bars this weekend. Listen to the Village People and enjoy all the 'tea bags' that you can. With as big a mouth as yours I'm sure you'll be on the receiving end of everything. ROFLMAO

yes, drawing a line in the sand was a particularly idiotic move on Obama's part knowing (or at least he should have known) that there are no viable, positive actions he could take unilaterally if and when Assad crossed that line.
