The largest economy on earth requires the best economists on earth. Presidents don't run the FED (Federal Reserve)Ben Bernanke is the man who oversaw our recovery and many think he saved America from a depression. Presidents just rubber stamp the fed's decisions.

Thanks for the clarification of those bail outs. The current president did bail out the banks didn't he? That was like feeding pigs at the trough in my opinion. I heard the grunts and snorts all the way out here in California. Makes me ask myself something about corporate welfare.

It's still too taboo. Even though it's obvious the correlations between Christianity and sun god worship, it's not mainstream...but given the USA only has ~35ish percent college graduates, and only a fraction of those in any field of study that are devoted to critical thinking...it's really no surprise to me...historically different philosophies of thought are shunned, it's easier to accept 'the crutch' of faith than do the legwork to make an educated decision.

Indeed! He was trying to get some chick to spring him a while back and have sex in a no-tell motel. She spurned his advances.

I suppose many fall back on superstitious belief systems out of fear.

TARP is bank bailouts. While Obama administrated the Bank of America bailout it was by then law.

He did pass the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Banking Regulations)

Yep. There was a time one could overlook ignorance - back when we learned by books. But you could have found out Tarp and the auto bailout came from the Bush administration.

He sighed it into law didn't he? I wouldn't vote for any Republican but I get tired of hearing Democrats complain about stuff they pretty much supported at the time. I would be libertarian if there was any chance of getting a candidate elected. Hell, the two parties we currently have are simply two sides of the same coin.

Well one thing came out of my ignorance. Seems like we just exposed Bush as a "commie liberal socialist."

ROTFLMAO about that one. ;)
