The motivation has nothing to do with Republicans having a desire to protect consumers and citizens. The motivation is everything about racism and ensuring this President fails at every step of his Presidency.

Who with any dignity would prevent their constituents from doing something responsible and as important as purchasing affordable health care insurance for themselves and family to prevent calamity financially to a middle class family?

Anyone receiving healthcare through their employer is exempt. Employers usually stick their employees with one plan. Where's the teabagging con freedom for choice? The ACA takes care of that. Any of those employees can opt-out and go the ACA route for a better deal, if they find one tailored to their individual needs.
The only people that don't recognize this is an uneducated consumer and those who haven't a choice in the plan they have because their Employer has a one stop shop, take it or leave it deal in place.

Anyone who's actually paid their own freight for Health Care Insurance understand the different plans, options with deductibles and co-pays and premiums.

If a person has never had to go out on the market to purchase a policy they're aware of the big deal coming down the pike Monday.

So it's a matter of idiotice consumers who have decisions made for them, and those who pay their own freight and have actually purchased a Health Care policy without the benefit or aid of a third party.

The point being made by Republicans is "We voted against this mess. We wanted a superior plan. We want you to know when you cannot provide you own care, just what you have done." When this fails, and it will, the Republicans will look pretty good in 2014.
And you loss by a big margin.... get over it..... whining isn't going to change the outcome.

You picked a losing candidate who dropped the bucket in his challenge against President Obama.

A vast majority of Americans didn't want what Romney, or the Republicans had to offer, namely the repeal of ACA

Obama said today 9/27/13 "I will not negotiate anything" Hitler has spoken,it's his way or the highway! Hitler Obama said he doesn't care who it hurts,Obamacare is his signature legislation even if it goes down in History as a total disaster "They will always remember my name and that's more important"
If it goes down as a total disaster that makes the road to the white house and control of the senate and house for republicans that much easier.

Why wouldn't that be a good position for the supporters of the Republicans?

If you really believe what you say, it's so much more easy to sit back in wait on Obama to destroy himself to guarantee Republicans a victory in 2016

From some reason I'm beginning to think some of the GOP Supporters don't believe what they're saying.

Interesting, if you're paying your own Health Care Insurance bills why would you not keep you doctor?

Maybe you don't pay your own bill and thus haven't much choice in the matter to begin with?

If you're presently covered you don't have this as an issue or any fear of your doctor denying you services. Why would he up and drop you?

It's pretty apparent that most of you don't have coverage now. There's no way you could have a policy in place and not know much about your coverage options and you'd have some familiarity with the Insurance market.

Others have cheap low level coverage by your employer, catastrophic plans that only cover you sustaining major injuries from getting hit by a truck or bus on the way to work. Those same plans offered by Fast Food Restaurants and offered to part time workers at Home Depot and other $7.23 an hour jobs.

I guess half a loaf is better than no loaf.

What an ignorant ass. You can't keep your doctor unless you are in one of the groups exempt, like Unions. The rest of you will be in no position but to accept this very intrusive healthcare tax.

And this is exactly why they should've focused on COSTs and not WHO will pay. The ACA aka Obama Care is a WHO is going to pay for it bill/law and not a HOW MUCH or WHAT you are paying for.
The corporate INSURANCE industry has already been acting as a pseudo government getting most of what they want from patients and providers. The patients and providers seem to get less out the INSURANCE industry than they get out of them. At the same time the patients or providers seem to have no problem making INSURANCE which is voluntary & optional the preferred form of payment. It is not mandatory that health CARE be paid with INSURANCE.
Corporate health CARE providers also contribute with production line CYA medicine. Patients also add to US health CARE costs by expecting their INSURANCE to cover routine maintenance including the sniffles and boo boos. But that's the problem, someone else is paying for their problems and services.
there is no doubt that overuse does contribute to cost

My mind goes back to this one set of facts
We ..as a nation pay more per capita..lots more than anyone else in the world.
In infant mortality...we are in 34th place ...behind CUBA
If you look at those two facts side by side ..and remember Cubans are not smarter nor more moral...
You can not endorse the continued existence of the pre ACA system

If you pay your own insurance why can't you keep your insurer and doctor?

Why would you need insurance if you're presently covered under a policy you purchased?

ACA is already paid.

Besides, the individuals who benefit from purchasing insurance, are tax paying citizens also.

What could have happen or should have happened isn't relevant to what Happened, and that is simply Obama won a second term by a large margin beating back the Republican candidate who's ideas and politics were thoroughly rejected by a large Majority of the American Electorate. The People spoke and spoke rather loud and clearly.

Ignoring the results of the election doesn't change the election results.

Obama had no mandate win. He had a solid win, but it was no mandate. He had less support the second time around.
.
None the less, ObamaCare has never had the full support of Americans which is why Democrats had to play games to get it through.
