Counseling, mental health care, and understanding of PTSD have come a great way since the great wars of the early and mid 20th Century. You'd never know it.

Our active veterans today suffer for two main reasons:
1) Those professionals you refer to are not maintained, budgeted for, at military hospitaals & bases, by guess who (your 'president.')
2) There is great pressure on the command structure, top to bottom, to keep recycling hurting troops back to Iraq. This is because of:
(a) the lack of a military draft as the policy of the Commander in Chief (guess who,) and
(b) The abuse of the worn troops by employing the STOP LOSS policy for a back door draft, ordered by (guess who.)

Bush has worn down our military to the point of abuse. There is your lie.
