If President Obama was smart, and he isn't, he would have postponed the Launch of Obamacare for one year when he was told months ago it was not going to work. He would get all the credit for a great deal (providing it is ever a good deal), and he wouldn't look so stupid. This way he had to lie about it several times, and it won't be ready December 1st, no matter how much he lies about it.

Not so. The government web site will be 'fixed' by Nov 30th. THEN, obamacare will work.

OR, Obama will 'delay' implementation of the ACA until he's gone.

The BIG problem isn't the website - It is the entire PREMISE of ObamaCare: That young healthy people, who typically don't care about health insurance, will sign on in droves to buy insurance policies that will no cost them up to six times the rate that they could have got them before, and with a deductable so high that the policy is essentially completely worthless, so that those who want to stay home and make welfare babies can get free coverage in addition to the rest of the freebies they already get.
These same people will be subjected to fines inless they get coverage, BUT, the BIG BUT, is that the IRS can only go after refunds, which are very easily avoided -(Prediction - Only the deadbeats and ill will sign up, causing the program to be cancelled when it is clear that ObamaCare was even worse than anyone imagined).
There are obviously MANY other problems, not the least of which are the oughtright LIES to the MILLIONS of already insured people who are losing their insurance because of ObamaCare.
Sadly, these ar a drop in the bucket to those that WILL lose their coverage, because with the inability to price for risk, the millions of deadbeats who don't need to pay a dime are free to visit their doctor (provided they can find one) as often as they like will make the insurance companies insolvent and/or initiate companies to drop coverage in droves, as we are already seeing.
Well folks, Welcome to the Mess.

As young people typically earn less, they'd be eligible for subsidies to pay for their health insurance. Even still I doubt the subsidy will be enough to offset the inflated costs of their new "affordable" health insurance.

I see a parallel here to student loans: the government raises student loan borrowing limits, colleges raise fees knowing that students can now "afford" to pay more via those same student loans.

As for the IRS collecting fines from tax refunds, don't forget many people claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or Child Tax Credit. So unless you have sufficient income to adjust your with-holdings to offset the credits, the government can take the fines from the 'credits', and reduce your return.

Of course, if you did have enough income to do so, you probably wouldn't be eligible for the subsidies anyway.

Hmmm... Obama has figured out a way to tax the poor.

Whatta guy!

You live in La la land. It won't be ready December 1st, the Government has already issued an extension. It Is all but shut down in several states, and there is a one year extension on small businesses signing up. It is a disaster, a gift to the Republicans that keeps on giving. It is the epitome of incompetence, and it belongs to the Democrats. Several Democrats, not the least of which is a big time Democrat leader Elijah Cummings are accusing Obama of outright lying. It is done. Republicans don't have to do a thing sit, and watch.

Democrats, after the shut down, had visions of taking back the House, and keeping the Senate. Now the fear losing more House seats, and losing the Senate. It is as though Democrats got Obamacare, and now Obamacare will get the Democrats. The N Y Times agrees redistribution of wealth is at the heart of Obamacare, and the President lied to make it palatable to the middle class. Redistribution of wealth, and death panels are part of the ACA. Sarah Palin was right, Obama lied, and the Democrats will be blamed in the 2014, and 2016 elections. Democrats will begin coming out next week against the ACA, and the Liar in Chief.

the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), will provide insight into the issue of rationing
healthcare and explain the reality of at least one provision of the ACA.
The rationing of healthcare is a reality. When resources are scarce, as is healthcare, the
distribution of the healthcare goods or services must be allocated among its potential users
through either explicit or implicit rationing.8 With explicit rationing, the price of the goods and
services rations the scarce resources.9 With implicit rationing, priorities are decided upon and
the allocation of the scarce resources is distributed according to those priorities.10 Great Britain
and many other countries with universal healthcare rely primarily on explicit rationing, while the
United States relies more on implicit rationing of healthcare resources.11 Either way human
beings all want access to healthcare resources and clear eyed decisions about how best to
accomplish that must be made. Rationing must be understood in order to evaluate the
effectiveness, which is determined through the tricky goal of reducing cost while improving
results. Fear mongering about rationing may provide may short term benefits but may harm the
very serious decisions surrounding the rationing of healthcare. Support for the ACA has stayed
roughly the same over the past couple years and thirty-nine percent of Americans believe there is
some form of a death panel as part of the ACA.12 This is not an issue of whether or not
healthcare will be rationed in one form or another, because that is the reality. It is important to
dispel inaccuracies so the public can have an accurate understanding to make an informed
decision about what is the best way to ration healthcare.13

The MSM Won't do their jobs. They would have to admit to being as incompetent as the Democrats, and their President. No it will take the full term to remove the Democrats from leadership positions they never took interest in anyway.
