I support anyone, whose rights have not been removed by due process, the right to own any firearm they can afford. I also support them being able to carry that same firearm anywhere they choose in any manner they choose (open or concealed). If you don't want the mentally ill and felons to get their hands on them, then keep those people locked up behind bars where they belong until they are either dead, or can prove themselves no longer a danger to the public. Pretty simple really.
you still avoided answering the crux of the question which was military grade weapons, do you draw a distinction between civilian arms and military arms.

If so where do you draw that line
If no explain your rationale.

So you see, according the words of the Founders themselves, the "people" and the "militia" were synonymous with each other.
Obviously the people are the militia; without the people there would have been no militia, nor the eventual Army, Navy, Marines, & Air Force.

It's the "well regulated militia" which makes it MORE than just every person. It's the well regulated (state) militia (person).

Well my driveway is not long enough for an F-18 to takeoff or land and my pool isn't deep enough for your run of the mill naval warship so we can rule them out.

So what? It's not 1789 anymore, is it? We live in a completely different world, one in which armed militias in lieu of Army, Navy, Air Force, and Nat'l Guard are a thing of the distant past.
Not that anyone's really proposing taking everyone's guns away anyway, but we all know THAT strawman's not going away soon, don't we? ;)
Hey they aren't even going to ban assault weapons because they don't have the votes. Imagine that.

Right-wing nuts tend to favor expresssions of hatred against gay people, minorities, and the poor, I've noticed.
Probably because most on the right are poorly-educated, childish, angry, violent-tempered, and stupid.
Wouldn't you agree? I mean, given your post and all...:)
Yet year in and year out the most violent cities in the nation vote Democrat. Over 90$ of blacks voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012.Percentage wise, blacks are the most violent ethnic group in the nation, by far.

Poor, poor Alinski- ite
Everyone knows that Tea Party revolutionaries fear and hate socialism about as much as the Antichrist. Which is funny, because the Tea Party movement’s dirty little secret is that it owes its existence to the grandaddy of all Antichrists: the godless empire of the USSR.

What few realize is that the secretive oil billionaires of the Koch family, the main supporters of the right-wing groups that orchestrated the Tea Party movement, would not have the means to bankroll their favorite causes had it not been for the pile of money the family made working for the Bolsheviks in the late 1920s and early 1930s, building refineries, training Communist engineers and laying down the foundation of Soviet oil infrastructure.

Here is a better historical fact, one that the Kochs don’t like to repeat in public: the family’s initial wealth was not created by the harsh, creative forces of unfettered capitalism, but by the grace of the centrally-planned economy of the Soviet Union. This deserves repeating: The Koch family, America’s biggest pushers of the free-market Tea Party revolution, would not be the billionaires they are today were it not for the whim of one of Stalin’s comrades.

Poor "marxist" nut job teabagger.

People were encouraged to mail teabags to certain members of congress, those who did were also instrumental in forming meetings all around the country to develop political action committees, marches, newsletters and money.

During those meetings and marches they adorned everything with teabags.

It's a shame you defend something that you haven't a clue as to their background.

That's grasping and isn't logical.
