Romney lost for two main reasons

1) He got three million votes LESS than McCain did in 2008 and I hope that wasn't because of him being a Mormon and the Santorum crowd didn't vote for him.

2) Hurricane Sandy, which jacked up Obama's approval ratings before the elecion.

Santorum is at least partly right. Romney did run a defensive campaign that might b emore appropriate for an incumbent. However, that may have been the best that he could have done. After all, he couldn't agressively attack Obamacare since he spawned the it's parent, Romneycare. If he hit Obama on failure to fulfill campaign pledges, he could be hit with his flip-flopping. If he attacked Obama's failed socialistic economic programs, it could be pointed out that Romney basically endorsed a return to Bush's big government programs. I know that defeating an incumbent is hard, and one needs an open tent, but when you have to spend much of your campaign diluting the effects of alienating your base, it distracts from focusing on broadening your appeal.

For right-wingers the study of history has been replaced by misinformation, misquotes and policy advocacy from blogs that they mindlessly parrot.

That's a perfect description of public eduction.

Liberal indoctrination in public schools has been going on for decades.

Why would a tinking huan being give 2 shits about what a douchebag idiot like Sanitorium has to say about any god damn thing.
I have seen a lot of people on my TV. NO ONE has ever made me get up and physically punch their TV image, until little Ricky Puke-a-torium.
He is just a NON human. Horribly disgusting in too many ways to list.
Oh god, he just makes me sick to my stomach.
Get him out of politics.
I proclaim the right will not win a single national election while they allow that vile creature to be a part of the party.

Fine, but the Left and the Right both have their dittoheads. For the Right, it's talk radio, Fox, Drudge, WSJ, etc. For the Left, it's NPR, NY Times, MSNBC, Huffington Post, etc. There are plenty of people who are willing oblige someone who wants others to do their thinking for them.

No, they are not equivalent. On some issues, the offenses are more serious on the Left, and on some they are more serious on the Right. They are, however, similar enough that neither side has sufficient moral high ground to be sitting in judgment on the other side.

So you've figured out that Fox is conservative? Some deduction! And MSNBC is liberal.
