Gov. Christie proved to be a demagogue who sends home for vacation the Federal support of FEMA while leaving the people of NJ suffering for weeks with their lives turned upside down. Undoubtedly, the people of New Jersey who pay about the highest taxes in the country deserve better than being left in the dark after more than 7 nights. In places such as Mount Olive and Netcong the damage was minor with few trees down while in many places the electric cables are underground. Yet, JCP&L trucks are rarely seen in these NJ deserted towns that look more like ghost towns that have no light, food, power, restaurants or supermarkets after seven days and would look the same much longer. For some reason, JCP & L is working very slowly with reduce amount of trucks and with no help from FIMA that Gov. Christie sent home for vacation. The people of New Jersey deserve better than a third world quality services while the taxes are sky rocketed. In addition Governor Christie decided to leave the people of NJ without gasoline while there is no shortage of Gas in Pennsylvania. Does Gov. Christie who cannot care about more than 70% gas stations with no power cannot use generators from FIMA to stop the shameful rationing of 30% gas stations with two police officers in each making sure that cars with odd or even license numbers cannot get gasoline on a certain date? How low will the people of NJ will go without power, food, water, gasoline, heat, restaurants, supermarkets while not standing up to bunch of loser politicians who show themselves only before the elections?
