LOL...knew we'd see some right-wing asshats whining about their "free speech." Of course that wasn't so important when your teabagger buddies were shouting down "liberal" Congresscritters at Town Meetings a few years back, was it?
:)
prof...you have violated our truce, I agreed not to waste time with you, and you agreed not to waste time with me....don't do that again.

There's a chasm of difference between an open exchange forum town hall meeting and a paid speaking engagement at a university. Wouldn't you agree? Probably not, I guess.

Heckled is one thing.

Being totally shouted down like tea party people do
is another thing.

How many students showed up carrying military style

It ment to be 50, 60 came out. And back in the 60s there was a real progressive movement that can barely be seen now. And the amount of war we regularly go through, i find it hard to believe that capitol hill is full of hippies. So those 15-30 year olds then would be 65-90 now. In other words, they are on their way out.
the hippie movement "started" in the 60's and continues to this day through the children of the hippies from the 60's.

I know because most of my friends back in the 70's and 80's were deadheads. most of them are brain dead now from all the drugs they took. brain dead and stupid.

how do I know they are brain dead, you ask? by what they say. example quote, "oh. the spotted owl is more important to us then peoples jobs." "we don't have a debt problem because we just need to print more money."

you think the hippie movement is on its way out? look around you. people running around smoking pot like it's not a crime. hating our government. what do you think that is all about?

communists? socialists?..the underlying source of this bs are hippies. brain dead, stupid hippies.

If it isnt, it was because of your generation. I would love to opt out of SS but with my current track, i wont need it. But i like the tough shit remark. Screw the system up but as long as you get your, fuck everyone else.

You sound like an Obama voter now.

yep, you can see them at Starbucks, sitting there in their birkenstocks, ponytailed ex hippies, bashing bush on the wifi while they sip their double espresso cappucino latte. They dont want the spotted owls harmed, but could care less about a unborn human baby being killed.

you must be a kid. 60 years ago would make it 1950's.
and I can tell you that the hippie movement didn't start in the 50's.
it started in the late 60's, and is still going on now.
capitol hill is full of these brain dead hippies.
Brain-dead is pretty much self-definition in your case.

If you want to believe the hippies are still around the way they were before, you go right ahead; as it is not worth the time debating the sillyness of it. Just because a hippy has a kid doesnt make that kid a hippy. I am sorry you are so narrow minded but you are free to believe whatever you want. Those orginal hippys are on their way out.

No, I wouldn't agree. Quit trying to take away these students' right to free speech, while you're at it.

Let them free speech their asses off outside of the event. There are limitations on free speech as to time, place and manner. These students missed the mark on at least the first two of the three and weren't even civil enough to take Rove up on his offer to take their questions at the end of the speech.

What treason?? LMAO

You once again sound like the halls of Stalin...Under the dictatorship of Joseph Stalin, tens of millions of ordinary individuals were executed or imprisoned in labour camps that were little more than death camps. Perceived political orientation was the key variable in these mass atrocities. But gender played an important role, and in many respects the Purge period of Soviet history can be considered the worst gendercide of the twentieth century.

Sorry Josef...ain't gonna happen here. Take you socialits rantings and play in the cat litter box.

And how did that "power to the people" bullshit work with 30 governorships republican and the house??

Democrats....not power to the people, power OVER the people.

Politics swings like a pendulum.
- Ed Gillespie

History has always been a series of pendulum swings,
but the individual doesn't have to get caught in that.
Except democrats...they keep making the same mistakes thiinking they'll get another outcome!! Hilarious.
