I'm a big fan of working for my family's survival. I'm not a fan of working to pay for freeloaders to sit on their ass with their hand out.

then you SHOULD go live alone. most of us enjoy living in a community, and i'm not even a real 'people person'...

perhaps a perusal of our constitution would give you and idea of what being a citizen entails. if its not for you, there is no-one stopping you from leaving...

What does your first paragraph have to do with working for a paycheck, then giving half of it to freeloaders?

So first you criticize me for it, then tell me I should do it. Hmmmm. Flip flop much?

The federal government will clobber any secessionist state. We're united. If you don't like what our government does with your taxes stop paying them. And good luck!

I can tell you how to legally delay them long enough to bring the feds to their knees.

That's why you need to read your constitution, so you can understand how that works...

learning is fun!

in other words, if you don't like the Democrats way of doing things, leave the country. But what happens when Democrats don't like the way Republican leadership leads the country?

if you're in LA, how would seceding from the nation work for you? You'd be taking a very large portion of the freeloaders with you.

Don't like what Pat Quinn does with your tax money, take your money, and your vote to Indiana. Not only is their Governor going to balance their budget without raising taxes, in 2 years every man, woman, and child will get a tax rebate. Cutting spending works. Bringing in business, and jobs works to lower the debt left by a Democrat Governor.

Quitter! Why can't we all just get along? We all pretty much want the same things. Let's get together and solve some problems. the trick is weeding out the sponges from the truly needy. Let's work on that. Why not?

Funny you would say that considering we have a Republican Governor and the State's Electoral Votes went to Romney.

Obviously we all do not want the same things. Apparently most who voted want things to continue exactly as they are.
It's not a matter of quitting. It's a matter of when are you taxed enough for it to be ENOUGH? It's not rocket science to see where we are headed. Why would the government stop spending if we keep raising the debt ceiling? More taxes will be needed. Will it be enough when you have to pay 60% of your income in taxes? 75%? 90%? When is it enough?

Are you saying that LA doesn't have a large portion of people on welfare? Aren't they one of the most 'carried' states in the union? Romney's 47%?
