And his income is ten times the amount REPORTED!!!! I don't care. I just want the 14% rate.
Capital gains tax rate is 15%.
You can get that, too.
Take what's left of your income after it's been taxed as income and all your obligations are paid, invest what's left in stocks and other investments and if you make any profit on those investments, the tax rate on that is 15%.
Easy peasy.

You really need to do some research before you jump in here:
"Once the Glastonbury-style warm-up bands and DJs had quieted, the Democratic nominee almost floated into view, walking to the podium on a raised, blue-carpeted runway, as if he were somehow, magically, walking on water. Even from a distance, the brilliant white of his teeth dazzle"
There WERE bands, food and fun, all the young kids came out for the free concert, ate and drank and had a good time. It was in all the papers.
I'm endlessly amused by how many Americans don't seem to know that this is what happened in Germany. A free concert, free beer and all they had to do was listen to Obama during a break in the concert.
But like so many things, if the main stream media didn't report on it, it didn't happen.

But Obama certainly isn't spewing the same hate-filled rhetoric as Hitler and the nazis were and it is completely unwarranted for you to compare the two.

Who the hell is talking about Nazi's?
I was talking about the enormous, wildly cheering crowd in Germany back in 2008, where Obama supposedly packed the house because he was going to give a speech...and that was back when I was enthused about Barack Obama.
Even at the time, I wondered why so many Germans would be so eager to hear a foreign Presidential hopeful give a speech, but it took some digging to find out that he spoke at a concert and that it was the concert that drew them, not Obama.
The media didn't report that and intimated that they all came to see Obama. And woe to the poster who informed otherwise (including a link).
I stopped posting on Topix before the election in '08 because if you weren't toeing the party line 100%, defensive and sometimes nasty replies are all you get.
And nothing has changed between then and now.

No sorry, they both use fear tactics, class envy and the ever endearment of telling a lie often enough and big enough so that people believe it. Hitler had a huge propaganda ministry, as Obama does with the MSM and Media Matters........many many of the same rules of engagement.

I remember when Bush wanted social security to go into the Stock Market. Wow. How great would that have been when the market crashed.
This is the reason Democats have lost their credibility..Bush wanted to allow people to invest 4%, that is 4 cents out of every dollar, into the stock market..NOT the entire Social Security fund as you would like people to believe.

You should have noticed the word allow, but I doubt if you did, or would admit it as it would destroy your less than informed point..

No matter how many lies and flip flops Romney does it is not working. Romney is writing his concession speech early.
Perhaps! So many of the DEAD have been registered to vote and votes are already being cast in several states. The Kenyan Usurper and his handlers will of course attempt to steal yet another 4 years to complete the destruction of the USA.

The world stil support Obama although they don't like the sub-human video basahing Muslim's GOD and religion. Libyan people did not kill the four amerians and have turne their protest aganst those radicat that use them to forward the terrorist agenda against America by killing the Americans. They don't care about the video.
The right wing sub human video backfired against the righ to discredit Obama.

Hitler didn't have as much anti German support as Obama has Anti American support from previous Presidents and the media. Hence, taking over Germany was harder for Hitler than taking over America is for Obama.

Americans want to see America fall apart or Obama would be 30pts behind. We must accept our fate as a Nation of Losers if the majority of voters see themselves as Losers.
That is the way the elections work.

Turn off fuxx - most of us want this president and our country to come together and move forward.

I believe it was Mitch McConnell who stated it clearly - in his meanspirited unpatriotic partisan pettiness - and it seems the republicannots have worked pretty hard at their goal in their Party of Hell No.

Chickie, dear, you demean the millions of voters who need more than a free concert and free beer to make a decision as to the backward thinking republicannots and forward thinking democrats.

A good start was the difference in the two conventions and the debates will be another "edewwwwcational" tool for those who don't need free music and/or free beer.

It looks like the republicannots do not have so much faith in their winning as they continue to move the voting goalposts.

Come November, we will see how this suppression will effect the voters - you know "those folks" as RMoney likes to call them.

Why is Obama winning?

Romney wildly overestimated the quality and character of the American people in 2012.

Obama understands that the majority of today's Americans are a terminally "hyphenated" gaggle of disconnected strangers. Obama knows we don't measure up to previous generations.

Obama didn't ruin America. Obama just capitalized on the obvious FACT that we ain't that Big of a Deal anymore.

Get over it folks. Obama IS America in 2012.
Sure he is less than but so are we!

My apologies, I didn't read back the thread and just responded to your post and misunderstood it.

i agree with you, though. i try to just stick with facts and reason but the hyperpartisanship here really closes off many people's minds to the truth. it is one of the greatest problems our nation faces right now...

No one likes a liar, and the American President cannot tell the truth. He is still pretending the death of our Ambassador was caused by an anti Muslim movie. The Libyan President told the truth, it was a well planned terrorist attack, and now his Secretary of State had to admit it was true. The 2 clowns make America look weak, and naive. We deserve better.
