It is really sad what this world has become. These people should have to pay the taxpayers back, then be deported! That would send a strong message for sure!

what about investigating the millions(and that's not an exaggeration) of Medi-cal recipients who receive benefits because they are flat out liars and crooks who cheat the system to save a few bucks for themselves but, defraud the taxpayers.

The whole system is corrupt ... For instance the lunches being ordered for the police covering the Michael Jackson Memorial at Staples ...
Let's see I'm L.A. County and I need to order lunches for my police officers covering M.J. Memorial ... I know order from a high end market ( Jensen's) that is based only in San Bernardino County at $10.00 a lunch ... No one in L.A. County could have done these lunches ?
I wonder how this backdoor deal came about ?

Yeah, well hopefully the over haul Obama is gonna do will get rid of stuff like this. And hey republicans who are scared of it, the WHO says we have some of the worst health care out of everyone in the UN, and we pay $500 annually more a year than the average industrialized nation.

I hope those people rot in prision. I hope you all know there are sites to check your nurses/doctors credentials.

Please be careful of putting people's name as they are innocent until proven guilty. One of the persons you named, as named in your report is a person known to me who is a basic family man, driven to work to survive his family. Jun Igamen worked with me at one time as a part time gas attendant which eventually foreclosed. While I don't know his immigration status, he is a victim of circumstances and due to his limited oportunities, may have had gotten any job to feed his family. He is a hardworking man with good intention and devoid of scheme to enrich themselves. They were used by greedy individuals. Again by greedy individuals devoid of morals and character. If you really believe the investigators indicating some of these persons had a hand in the scheme to make themselves rich, why is he a bottom scratcher? He just moved his family to a decent apartment finally after years of renting room from one friend to another for his family of five. As a reporter, I challenge you to interview this "supposed" suspects families and look hard at their lives and look hard at the people who knows them. And for fairness' sake, why did you not name all the persons and not just a few? You have further killed their chances and reputations. I will follow up your coverage of this story until what plays out later when the news is too stale to print and you would not publish what is the outcome of the trial. Oftentimes, you victimize people through trial by publicity. They have no chance to get their names cleared when proven not guilty because the news is not "too hot" anymore to warrant a space in your paper. Please do your legwork and start looking into how these "suspects" lives are dimmed.

Thanks,

State your name da pilapenes...you are a coward by not putting your name. Most of my buddies are legit,(and I am legit american citizen, working hard, paying taxes for my hard-earned money, educated here and ready to go public anytime in any public forum). Like you probably, you have buddies who are illegal, maybe you are illegal yourself or your parents were or your grandparents in the past,(If native americans were to run the immigration office, we non-natives are all illegals in this country) or maybe you dealt with people who have no chance yet to be legal citizens... America is good, everyone has a chance to be a citizen of this country.
Fact is, Mr./Ms./Mrs. Da Pilapenes, you resort to racist tendencies just because this particular group of people did something horrible. Don't include race issues here. This is a matter of wrong choice or wrong decisions by some greedy people (Yes regretably Filipinos) who used fellow Filipinos who happens to be financially needy people ready to pounce on anything to bring bread to their table. Thanks these people with limited opportunities know better not to rob banks!

I'm not leaving the America that I love and I do my share as a good citizen. Meantime, those who are indicted has the chance to prove themselves in court and I trust the system. My only concern was that their names got published prematurely. I am not saying that these people are not necessarily guilty. I am saying that they cannot pack up and leave now because they were accused. Let the justice system run its course and see how it plays out.

Someone once told me that Filipinos are backstabbing, lazy workers who will step on you to get ahead. Makes me sick. How can anyone defend anyone who put themselves in this situation. Dirt that is what these people are.

That's only the ones that are stright out of Manilla. The rest are OK, but becarful if they have a heavy accent.

Story:
My dad's friend met a women over there when he was on business. He brought her over and they got married. Her mom, dad, and 2 brothers came as well and lived with them (after the legaly needed time to start sponsering family). Well, one of the brothers was actually her husband, and she divorced him and took half of his stuff, and he found out that they had been sleeping together most of the time. CRAZY!!!

This is all about politics. Ruth Magracia is innocent. She is just a victim just as the patients. Why don't they go after the real person behind these. Its Precilla and susan who should go to jail.

You are all stupid. You judge these people like they are criminals yet they haven't been proven guilty yet. Most of these people are innocent except for the owner of this facilty who defrauded the government. Unfortunately Filipino yes, but these filipinos are just looking for a means of living. To be able to serve food on their table. We all are not from this country. This land belonged to the native indians who you all rob of their property. What about the millions and millions of beaners who are undocumented and kept crossing the borders illegally and by the way they also scam the government by claiming WIC, SSI, Unemployment, FOOD STAMP and Health Services. I am furious because I am a United States born Filipino who have serve this country in the military, a tax payer and a law abiding citizen. That's why You are all stupid. Send all mexicans to mexico!

How could they have done something like that.? Greed does not get you anywhere ! There should be closer watch and more investigation, to make sure that they do have all the training needed for the kind of work they are supposed to do.
