Did you make this up all by yourself? Hilarious. CIA and FBI numbers went UP during Bush's terms....<quoted text>
Safe?? When did that happen? I remember the ricin and anthrax in the mail, to who knows who. People were scared to open their own mail. That is not safe. bush told us the whole nation was yellow, that doesn't sound safe. It was one attack after another when bush ruled. Since he had no consideration for the rule of law, nor the constitution, we had no illusion of safety, even from bush. When the GOP passed and bush signed the Pat Act, we understood the government was telling us all our freedoms were gone. Now you can't speak against the government without risking life in prison, being tortured till you die.
While bush told us bin laden did it, Bin Laden said he didn't, and that Al Queda didn't. Since bush has no credibility, he can't be believed. The wars bush started only meant that there are millions more with reasons to attack Americans. NO, in no way were we safer with bush. Even consider he destroyed our intelligence gathering by putting them all under one giant bureaucracy. Then he outed those who gave him information he didn't like, putting their lives in danger. You would have to be a complete idiot to go into the CIA or FBI under those conditions. He chased all the good people away. He also destroyed our military. With all that money he spent for the military, he couldn't even win in Iraq nor Afghanistan. Our military became the laughing stock of the entire world. The best military equipment in the world, and bush couldn't win against people with nothing but rocks.
Notice, I am not saying Obama is any better, but let's be real about bush.
"Now you can't speak against the government without risking life in prison, being tortured till you die." Boy, that's as funny as a flash flood in an alka seltzer factory.
Bush wrested huge government agencies including the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the Coast Guard, the Secret Service, the Customs Service and the Federal Emergency Management Agency -- from their far-flung bureaucratic moorings and combine them into a single Department of Homeland Security. The new agency would have an initial budget of $37 billion and employ 170,000 federal employees. He also required FBI, Secret Service and CIA to report findings to HS.....in other words I'll make it simple for you.
Under slick willie clinton...these agencies never coordianted, never shared findings and ego's got in the way of what was best for the safety of the American people...
Bush put it all together.....slick dropped the ball.
"Bin Laden said he didn't"???????? He took credit for 9/11, meathead. Were you high the whole time??
