You second statement is an outright lie. Prayer groups are allowed in elementary and high schools by law.

Tell me do you ever post anything that is accurate and truthful.

BTW-you really need to learn what a thesis is and how it gets approved. a thesis like the jesus Mysteries, the authors researched ancient religions and compared their beleifs/stories to those of Jesus. Its a comparison. I'm betting that you didn't even read it.

But I digress. Once a thesis is completed, it has to be defened. Usually a panel of 3 professors with expertise in the subject matter review the thesis. The writers then are grilled and the thesis is either approved or sent back for editing. If you ever get a college degree, go for you master's and you'll find out.

I also know that Jesus didn't care about anything besides abortion and homosexuality, so I shouldn't either. Who else do I have to hate? Just how intolerant and bigoted do I have to be in order to be a living reflection of Republican Jesus' ahem,*love*? How many guns do I have to own? first, I'm an atheist and am not afraid to admit it. However, if there are atheist out there that are afraid to admit it, its because of the extreme amount of prejudice out there from intolerant ignoramous who are typically fundamentalist evangelical christians.

Second, I'm an atheist because there is no evidence or proof of a omnipotent supreme skydaddy that watches over us.

third, we are not the ones making the claim of a omnipotent being. We do not have to prove anything. It is up to the people making the claim that there is a god, to prove it.

Disagree
The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits the establishment of a national religion by the Congress or the preference of one religion over another, non-religion over religion, or religion over non-religion. Originally, the First Amendment only applied to the federal government. Subsequently, under the incorporation doctrine, certain selected provisions were applied to states. It was not, however, until the middle and later years of the twentieth century that the Supreme Court began to interpret the Establishment and Free Exercise Clauses in such a manner as to restrict the promotion of religion by state governments. For example, in the Board of Education of Kiryas Joel Village School District v. Grumet, 512 U.S. 687 (1994), Justice David Souter, writing for the majority, concluded that "government should not prefer one religion to another, or religion to irreligion".

disagree-you could use this arguement back in 1860 for the south to keep their slaves. I think gays are a discriminated minority and should have the same right to be trapped in a miserable marriage and owe money to divorce lawyers as we heterosexuals.

as for abortion, it used to be a state issue. Which meant that only the rich were able to cross state lines or travel overseas to get an abortion, thus violating equal protection clause. Beside, making abortions illegal doesn't stop them, it just moves them to the back alleys. You should check on David Souter's experience with that-google it as it is pretty interesting

Federal intities such as the dept of education are unconstitutional and therefore have no authority to restrict Faith teachings in schools.

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own Government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:
List of 7 items:
Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent.
Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent.
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!
In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!
While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.
There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort, and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.
You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.
Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.
During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!
The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.
