I got the actual report today. Basically rightwing extremist (broad definition that groups people who believe in the Constitution along with the abortion doctor white power nutjobs) = terrorist = not privy to Constitutional protections = no problem to throw you into Guantanamo Bay.

Hat tip to Gunshow - he busted out this link and I came across it last night in another thread.

YOU NEED TO TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!!!

Here's my rant after I read it in the other thread - just in case you don't think you have the time to read it...

Here's the "definition" of "Rightwing Extremism" from this Homeland Security document:

"*(U) Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."

If you follow their logic...

If:
"Seventy-four percent (74%) of U.S. voters continue to believe the federal government is not doing enough to secure the country’s borders, even as President-elect Obama has named a new secretary of Homeland Security who is opposed to a border fence."
posted Dec 3, 2008 @ http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_conten...

Then:
It appears 74% of American's "may" be able to be labled as a "Domestic Rightwing Extremist" just because they may not agree with the Dream Act Amnesty, or may believe that "illegal" immigration is "illegal".

Here's another quote from the document if you STILL haven't taken time to read it:

"....Many rightwing extremist groups perceive recent gun control legislation as a
threat to their right to bear arms and in response have increased weapons and ammunition
stockpiling, as well as renewed participation in paramilitary training exercises. Such
activity, combined with a heightened level of extremist paranoia, has the potential to
facilitate criminal activity and violence."
Wow. I feel like such a bad guy now. I'm an American that "perceives" recently introduced legislation "may" infringe upon my right to "keep and bear arms". I don't participate in paramilitary training excercises and I certainly don't plan on (what others will perceive as my "paranoia") any criminal activity or violence. Hell, fighting against criminal activity or violence against me as a citizen is my primary reason to own a firearm.

What a setup...as ambiguious as it is written, if you take issue with anything they say in this document, you can be labled as anything they want. See? Now with that comment, someone will call me some kind of, well, rightwing extremist...
Sigh.....
Beck spent 1hr of his radio show today - practically reading it to whomever was listening.

"....Many rightwing extremist groups perceive recent gun control legislation as a

Well, considering that the right to keep and bear arms "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED", it doesn't seem all that "extreme" to believe that gun control legislation threatens it.

Whom is more radical then George Washington ?

Against the strongest King and army he led a band of men who dared to defy The Kings Law and led open rebellion.

With declaration of liberty from the British Empire and flying flags treasonist to the same King, armed insurrection , against all laws known to him was the order of the day.

He then has the nerve to lead this new nation as it's first President.

Was any man more treasonous , more radical ?

There will always come a time in the political evolution that revolution must be called for.

Let us never become so complacent that we think our system is above improvement.

Domestic Rightwing Extremist...
If they're trying to hurt my feelings or scare me, it's gonna take a lot more than that - I'm married. I've already been threatened and called more names than they could ever conjure. Amateurs.

Do you actually think they're gonna arrest people who still have a job?

Who's gonna pay the bills?
