Hardly. If everyone were homosexuals we'd simply get all the lesbians & gay men together once a year and create a bunch of babies.
It's not that difficult; even heteros can do it.
There's that fantasy world of yours again.

<quoted text>Given how many times that question has been asked and answered and asked and answered and asked answered on these forums, it's no longer our fault that you haven't been taking notes. Look up the evidence that was available to them when this change was made yourself. There were a number of studies that proved that being homosexual did not fit the definition of having a mental illness.
I've asked the question many times and many times it's gone unanswered. Opinion and speculation are not 'scientific fact.'
I've also asked for anyone to show me an organization other than the APA that says homosexuality isn't a disorder. I get plenty of AMA, social workers, etc. but none of them say it.
I've also asked what benefit to the government would allowing gay marriage be. We provide the country with future taxpayers, soldiers, work force, etc. What would a gay couple do for the country? Never got anything but a lot of dancing around an answer.

That's a very odd statement, no wonder you are having trouble understanding the answers.

Why in the world should we create laws to benefit the Government? Doesn't the Government supposed to benefit the PEOPLE?

Now, if you re-phrase that in a rational way, and ask how does legalizing the marriages of same sex couples benefit the PEOPLE, then the answer is very clear, and has been explained to you many times.

And you have even answered it yourself, in this post.

Strong families provide a great many benefits to society as a whole. If you believe that ONLY gay couples and their families are excluded, prove it.

So, society views all marriages with couples who either do not have kids, or are raising kids not biologically related to them to be "flawed".

Really?

Can you prove this odd claim?

And can you show us where this is encoded in marriage law?

Romney on gay marriage.

"But to call that marriage is something that in my view is a departure from the real meaning of that word."
I agree.

“Today, same-sex couples are marrying under the law in Massachusetts. Some are actually having children born to them. We’ve been asked to change their birth certificates to remove the phrase ‘mother’ and ‘father’ and replace it with Parent A’ and ‘Parent B.’ It’s not right on paper, it’s not right in fact. Every child deserves to have a mother and father.”
I agree.

We have created a family, the exact same way millions of opposite-sex couples have created their families.

I guess their marriages are flawed as well?

I can only hope my marriage is as "flawed" as my aunt & uncle who've been flawedly married for 60+ years now, and raised their 2 children to be happy productive members of society and now have children of their own.

Oh to be so "flawed"........

We also provide the country with future taxpayers, soldiers, work force, etc, the same way MILLIONS of opposite-sex couples do.

If you're going to deny marriage to couples because they don't reproduce solely between the 2 individuals, then MILLIONS of opposite-sex couples have to be banned from marrying as well.

Procreation between the 2 individuals has NEVER been a requirement of marriage in America.

Even the ABILITY to procreate between the 2 individuals has NEVER been a requirement.

Stable families- regardless of HOW they are created- are beneficial to society, which is why the govt gives special rights & benefits to encourage people to marry.

2. One of them has a medical flaw, what's your problem?
