The American way of working hard, having personal rsponsibility and self-reliance is quickly becoming traits that far too many distance themselves from. Too many people take pride in the fact that they do nothing and get rewarded for it. This country is full of self-pitying do-nothngs.

Well you know that First off its comforting to know that there are a few democrats that still like women.

That said Jill kelly and her sister are 2 smokin hot babes and these guys sure have better taste than Clinton did.

Looking at them it brings to mind that 2 heads are better than one......

Anyhow while this 4 star genital was busy texting his harem hundreds of American soldiers died he was supposed to be leading.

His leadership failed them, and the guy who was supposed to be in charge failed them, and imbeciles just put this ineffective leadership back in office.

When I say imbeciles I mean the Republican leadership as much as the fruity democrats.

I blame a clueless Republican party leadership. It isnt their appeal to a White Americans platform that hurt them, But rather its their save the starving rich stupidity that gutted them.
These morons figured they could trash Ron Paul voters and get away with it. Now all of America will pay the price for their arrogant stupidity.
They figured that they could wave the boogey man of Obama and that alone would be enough to swell their ranks with a mob carrying pitchforks to the White house dinner party.

These inept dorks thought that their core voters would vote for an east coast little rich boy who had an ivy league title and spends his day golfing with biff and the gang.
One Who picked 10 dual citizenship Israelis to snuggle up to Americas military secrets, and are strongly implicated in 911.
Now they drag up the dregs they sponsored instead of White people and figure they can become like communistically diverse democrats and still act out on the platform of saveing the starving rich,

Reince Preibus is an total asshole and should be fired immediately
he will never win an election he couldn't even deliver Wisconsin his home state. Wisconsin with a vice presidential candidate from Wisconsin, Wisconsin with a smashing republican victory only a few months earlier. What a Hopeless imbecile. This guy turned certain victory into the worst defeat in history.
You need to remove thee head from the hinder right now.

But millions of them are "proud," low-income Republicans:

In the 99% white, and overwhelmingly Republican county above - with a 45.4% poverty rate - perhaps they are too poorly educated to understand that Gov. Romney was complaining about them as well when he criticized the "47%."

I don't care what their political affiliation may be, too many people have been too eager to cash into a system of sloth and dependency. That's why this country is slipping and bleeding money.

They think they got some big thing now, that they can all sit on big fat government pensions and on long term unemployment and all keep doing disability fraud and all sit on food stamps and it will just go on forever.

We are flat broke at at collapse and all of this crap the Dems have done is about to collapse in total, and the whole world is going to see the U.S. collapse from the Dems' social programs just like Europe did. Two years tops. They all think it is a big joke now, the joke is on all of them. The country is at collapse from the Dems welfare, the Dems unfunded big government pensions and from the Dems' bankrupt entitlement programs. Two years tops.

Instead of putting Ron Paul in there and stopping the spending, they just sent us over the cliff. Now it all has to end with default on our debt and the U.S. going full blown third world and then Libertarian anyway at the end of all of this. It's just a much more painful way of going under.

I partly agree, but it DOES matter a great deal what folks' political affiliation is.

After all, until a few weeks ago we had ONE particular party attempting to hold itself up as the champion of the hard-working, self-reliant, non-government-dependent kind of voter.

Now, if you can openly admit that the Republicans were spouting pure bullsh*t with that attitude, then maybe the nation can move ahead with a more honest and less hostile approach to fixing the problems we face.

Sure. They should have moved over to Libertarian, been honest. The ONLY hope the Republican party had was to get off of the big war spending, the big oil wars and move in the direction of the Ron Paul supporters. He's right about everything and the Repubs should have taken notice of how many supporters RP had, young voters, which is what the Repubs do not have.

What they did is tried to win the election with the old folks on SS and on Medicare. They got the 65 and older vote, but the Dems got the blacks, Hispanics and young people. And it was close. You know, 49-50 all the way through the states, so the baby boomers did almost vote themselves ONLY THEM getting social security and Medicare and ending it on young people. They were only one point away from getting what they wanted. This election was a fight between the old folks wanting all the money spent on them for SS, Medicare and on wars for them, versus the younger people who want to live on welfare and disability and who want their student loans forgiven. Everyone voted for what they could get in cash from the government when the government is flat ass broke, as if any of them could get one thing for much longer. And it was one point higher for young people than for the old people. So there are just a few more young voters than old baby boomers. Everyone voted for spending cuts for someone else and money for themselves. That's the problem.

That's true because the reality is the tea party is all people 65 and older on government medical care and on several government pensions. I saw this for years that what we had was all of these old people who get almost all of the government monies one way or another living really fat retired and they saw that the country is broke and they were trying to vote themselves most all of the tax money so they could continue to live fat retired at the expense of the young.

That is why you would hear the old Tea Party folks living on union pensions and on social security, VA pensions, Medicare, all government monies, saying to end those things on young people. They wanted to end the minimum wage, end unions and end SS and Medicare on young people.

I was at the gym one day around all of these old people who go there in the morning and that is when I figured it out. It came to me - "this is old people all on the government, they know the country is broke, they want to vote themselves all the government money." If you get around them and you hear how much money they get and you see the country is broke, then it starts to make sense what they were after. They are trying to live fat when the country is bankrupt and they don't want to take any of the cuts.

David Frum explained it really well on CNN the other day. First time I saw anyone tell the truth about the Tea Party in the four years it has existed. He hit the nail right on the head.

Well - you could always try convincing hard-core Romney voters to RETURN their monthly SSI and Social Security checks to the U.S. Treasury... along with the monthly EBT benefits that low-income Republicans depend on, and also veterans pensions, IRS refund checks... and farm subsidy payments, too.

I mean if they TRULY care about excessive, lavish, wasteful gifts and "free stuff" from corrupt liberals... they can just REFUSE to participate in that filthy liberal scam.

Right, Pamela?

I always tell the Tea Party if they hate socialism so much then give up their social security and government Medicare. The truth is everyone only votes for whichever party they think will give them the government money they get. If they are on a government pension, they vote Dem. If they are seniors, they voted Repub. Once a country gives out money to get votes and borrows money to give out and runs itself into debt it can't pay back, that is the end of a democracy. It's vote buying to bankrupting the nation. Same as Greece and the rest of the European countries. But people are going to do it as long as the government gives them money.

I was watching a show about the Dust Bowl and when that major tragedy happened, they said 70 percent of the people in the Dust Bowl were on government help. Heck, today we are approaching that number quickly. Once the 80 million baby boomers go onto Social Security and Medicare, the entire U.S. will be at over 70 percent of the country being on the government. In those days it was one small area of the country that was in a crisis, today it is the norm for the entire country. Shows how far gone the country is.

That would actually have been a good coalition to put the OWS young people who would have loved Ron Paul together with the Tea Party Libertarians. Now that would have won the vote. The Repubs have to move away from being neocons in order to attract young voters. Many young people have never known anything besides the country being at war, so for old rich folks to try to sell them a war with Iran and more big war spending is nuts. I think Ron Paul was the answer but because he is for real with spending cuts and a real Libertarian, the Tea Party people feared that he would cut off their socialism, and people ONLY vote for government money for themselves, so they didn't like Ron Paul even though he is sooooo honest and a problem solver. Unless everyone puts the health of the economy and the nation ahead of them personally wanting money from the government, we are going to go under. And, the old people have to realize that the young people have rights too. The country is not just for old people.

I agree with you to a great extent on much of your sentiments- but people were made to pay into these things throughout working years or they would not be able to get them at all. They could get SSI or Medicaid in some cases but not those other two things.

What kind of help did they get? My great-grandfather was "given" a job with the CCC and did mostly lineman work- but it was hard work and minimal money- which he sent home to his parents/younger siblings. Such work was considered "charity" back then.
