Note of the 17 listed, autism isn't one of them and autism isn't listed at all any where and note the tests performed to confirm them. A DSM isn't one of them.
Most children with an autism spectrum disorder do not and have not had an encephalopathy. Some children with an autism spectrum disorder have had regression and some have had a regressive encephalopathy. Encephalopathy and autism as of today are not the same thing nor are the symptom's the same.

Interesting study.
"There is strong evidence from studies of twins for a genetic contribution"
"Given the small number of cases involved, it is not clear from our findings what the association between NE and autism may represent. It is possible that common risk factors acting along independent pathways result in both NE and autism. These risk factors may supervene on a genetically defined predisposition, making these infants more vulnerable to both encephalopathy and autism."

They started out with 276 term newborn infants with encephalopathy, and 564 controls. Note, these children were newborns with encephalopathy. By age 5, 37 had died, something you don't see with autism. Some of the children had other comorbidities as well as did the controls. One of them being Cerebral palsy. Of 239, 227 did not have any ASD diagnosis at all. Among the controls, 5 were diagnosed with ASD. The 12 NE group infants with an ASD were more likely to have a family history of intellectual disability, a history of bleeding, trauma, or infection during pregnancy, tohave a birth defect.

News flash, I wasn't the one who posted a link to wikipedia. Some one else did. Aside from that, you don't need wikipedia to locate the same info, encephalopathy and autism as of today are not the same thing nor are the symptom's the same and of some encephalopathy, there's a mortality rate where as in autism, there is not.

From you its news FLUSH. Some believe SIDS kids would have been autistic if they had lived. Vaccines kill and maim. Unlike you with zero credibility, others believe autism is a result of encephalopathy. First vaccines then WALLA (snicker) encephalitis, then walla autism
