Actually, we all win. Vaccinations work as a firebreak to prevent disease from spreading, unless the path is totally clear, the virus will infect those not immunized and continue to spread. The anti-vaccine cause is based upon poor science at best and much of the "data" on their side has been proven falsified.

This is a win for anyone who doesn't want to die of polio, smallpox, or whooping cough.

There are a certain number of children who will suffer because of reactions to a proper vaccination. These claims should be handled by the special court.

If the vaccine is contaminated or otherwise defective and an error in manufacturing causes injury to children who would not have suffered from a properly-manufactured vaccine, I think they ought to be allowed to sue in the regular courts.

This is a rather high burden, showing that the vaccine was defective, and that the child was not suffering from a regular bad reaction, but if the parents can meet the burden, the manufacturer should bear the burden caused by a failure to exercise proper care in the manufacture of the vaccine.

It is the blanket statement that is concerning in the judgement.

It is a proven fact that vaccine do cause autism and damage children.

It is up to the parents to decide if they want ot take that risk with their children. If they do so, they should not be entitled to any compensation.

But one thing is clear: Vaccine cause autism.

Show that proven fact. You never do because you cant. I just read autism is caused by
Mercury + Electromagnetic fields (EMF), not vaccines.

Again, SCOTUS has acted against the interest and welfare of the USA and has accepted tainted research by the Pharmacutical industries that has a long history of corruption in marketing of drugs.

The unlimited lobbying spending bill of 2009 was proof that the intention of the High Court rests in the interest of the Pharmacutical Industry and big business.

Further, the problem of forced medication in vaccination (school, military and immigration) along with the lower courts forcing of mind drugs on the public has consequences that will feed the medical community, mental health and Pharmacutical industry with power and control over the health and welfare of public.

Actually the big loser is the pharma industry and all health regulators.

They never adressed fear of public: Autism Vcine link. They just swept the issue under the carpet and harassed and mafiaed any body who researched and questionned vaccine safety.

They should put it in their head: You will not be able to forcefully immunize people with deceipt and fear of polio instead of a kid without soul.

Enjoy your vaccine shot.

There he goes again, telling people vaccines takes children's souls. OOOOOO, how scary. This is why no one ever listens to anti vaxxers. They lie.

This article is about the Bruesewitz's who filed a case with in the
National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program and lost, then wanted to try and sue else where. So the high courts decided it cant be done other than in vaccine court, so what. If they lost there they'd loose in civil court as well. The Bruesewitz's wasn't even about autism either.

Bill Nye, you are dead WRONG in your assertion that viruses will only attack those not immunized. The only people in the US who ever get polio anymore are the ones who contract it after receiving the vaccine. It's called an "adverse reaction to medication" and on average it happens about 10 times a year. Keep your poison out of my circulatory system, pal....

Good one! Kinda of hard to get polio from an inactive vaccine. So you're the one 'dead' wrong.

What concerns me the most with vaccines is the sheer number, the volume of vaccines they want to give, and some of them are completely unnecessary. What concerns me is the adjuvants, the chemicals used to stimulate the immune reaction, which with vaccines, bypasses the body's natural antibody development. As well as the all the animal tissue & the foreign DNA being injected into our children causing issues. What was that news release just this past year about pig DNA being found in some vaccines? All of these things being pumped into our children to give them immunity only through childhood. We *should* all be getting vaccines throughout adulthood as well because we do not have lifelong immunity from these diseases. The shots are temporary. These chemicals that overstimulate immune reaction in the body are setting us up for future autoimmune disorders. MS, Lupus, rheumatism in al its forms, fibromyalgia the list goes on & on, not to mention damage to the brain, the heart, the organs. But all of that is years in the future. So I guess the future pain & devastating illness of your child is ok, so long as they don't get sick now.
We are creating a population that will be COMPLETELY dependent on vaccines, drastic medical intervention & pharmacology just to survive. I truly am glad I won't be here in 50 years, 100 years to see what damage we have done to the human body & the immune system, if humans even have a functioning immune system left.

Speaking of which, nine months before Andrew Wakefield and London's Royal Free hospital medical school unleashed a global scare over the MMR vaccine, they filed, on June 5 1997, the first of a string of patent claims for theoretically vastly profitable products which could only succeed if MMR's reputation was damaged.

Wakefield published a paper in 1998 in The Lancet, which is THE most prestigious medical journal in the world, saying that MMR vaccine may cause autism. Wakefield's own laboratory has refuted the conclusions Wakefield came up with, and The Lancet has retracted that paper, saying they were deceived.

The symptoms of autism first appear at the same age when the MMR vaccine is given. However, the rates of autism in the Amish, who typically do not vaccinate, is virtually identical to that in the general population.

You're suffering from an agnotologic attack. You need to be more careful in choosing who to believe.

Typically, one cultures growths in albumen (egg white) or gelatin (derived from bones.) If the bones from from chickens, you'll have chicken DNA in the vaccine, and if they come from swine, you'll have swine DNA in the vaccine.

If you're afraid of introducing DNA into your body, you need to stop eating food.

Kidney, liver & sometimes brain tissue is also used. The DNA is introduced directly into the bloodstream & tissues, bypassing the breakdown of the digestive juices. So therefore, eating meat is not the same as having the DNA injected directly.

I hesitate to use the Amish as an example as they are a notoriously closed gene pool. A shallow gene pool creates problems of its own.

"Anti vaxxers lie"? we can say the same thing about pro vaxxers. You just can't stand it that many of us are researching for ourselves, not just one or two sources or believing a favorite or popular source. You can't stand it that we aren't doing like everybody else, being a good little cog in the machine. Vaccinations in moderation are ok. MODERATION being the operative word.

What we need are long term, on going studies that follow a segment of the population throughout their lives, their children's lives to see what long term health effects all the vaccs have, each component. But there aren't any and most likely there never will be.
