He'd come on here himself and answer questions, but he's stuck in a remote area out of the country.

Dear prefer the truth! Maybe you should check out the truth! The mom inherited a home in the Hamptons in NY. That is fact! She did grow up with a gold spoon in her mouth. She was registered as a democrat and contributed to that party!!!

Matt is not technically on probation because his DUI has not made it to court! Call Clark Milsap on that while you are a it!!

I have watched as you try to paint this kid as something he is not. The people of District 14 do not want him as their representative because he can not relate. Those already at the Dome don't want him there either! I have met with Pullen and Thomson, and both are much enter for this job!

Ken, you're correct. Matt is not a car salesman. He is a brilliant economist and businessman.
Great, just tell me what he has accomplished, like what businesses he owns/has owned or started.

A brilliant economist??? That's funnier than him claiming he lived on a boat so he could say he lived in the district.

I think the Laughridge campaign needs a theme song:

"Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip,
That started at the country club and ended on a ship."

Okay, creative folks, that's the beginning. Let's see if we can help Collier and Company come up with some more verses for a campaign commercial.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip, that started at the country club and ended on a ship. The mate was a real mystery, his consultant had no clue. His campaign still set sail that day, but it turned into a zoo... a big old political zoo.
The campaign started getting rough, Matt Loughridge soon was tossed. Despite the efforts of mom & dad, Matt's election would be lost... Matt's election would be lost.
Matt soon set ground on the shore of campaigns that never had a chance... with Matt Loughridge.... Melanie Collier too... Terry Reid... and his wife... the Bartow clique... and the rest... here on Loughridge's isle.

I see the Daily Tribune has come late to the party. Better late than never, I suppose.

Here is a point that hasn't been highlighted yet, from the story:

"In addition to the Captains Walk and Reynolds Lane addresses, Laughridge owns a home on Peeples Valley Road N.E., Cartersville. According to the complaint, Laughridge’s representative said he planned on moving into the home after renovations were finished. The renovations were reportedly the reason he was living in the houseboat. According to Bartow County Assessor’s Office documents included in the complaint, Laughridge received the Peeples Valley property Jan. 9, 2013, in a quick claim deed."

So...we are to believe that Laughridge was living in a houseboat for two years because he was renovating a house...that he didn't own until January, 2013? It's all too unbelievable.

If he will call the "Nathan Deal Hotline" all will be well.

Nathan can fix anything when it comes to investigations.

A quick search of campaign finance contributions makes this scenario highly unlikely, since both Terry Reid and Claudia Laughridge gave $6,100 (each) to Thurbert Baker for governor. Didn't know they gave so much money to Democrats...

If you look at federal disclosures, Matt Laughridge himself gave to one candidate last year...Saxby Chambliss. I can only assume that this was before Chambliss announced his retirement. Which means Laughridge must like Chambliss's style and want him to continue in the Senate.

If you put your money where your mouth is, Laughridge has lined up with the unpopular moderate, Sen. Chambliss. No thanks!!

Looks like Laughridge is ALWAYS personally unavailable for comment.

That's what I want, a senator who will NEVER answer my questions.

Looks like Collier picked a stinker this time.
