Every Columbus shot was contested but 2. Every Galaxy shot was contested but 2. It came down to finishing and the Galaxy have been the best in the league at it. You have to do enough to penetrate the opponent defense and you have to put off the other team's offense enough to keep them from scoring. The Galaxy did just enough and the Crew didn't. All the rest is just statistics. The Galaxy rarely dominate possession.
