I could not agree with Mr. Bush less. I can say that I will vote against those who vote for this bill if they stand for re-election.

I have wrote my congressman four times on this expressing my disapproval for the bill and all you ever get is an automated email back.
All the media generated polls show favor for this bill but if you watch CSPAN the majority of the calls are against it.
The will of the people is no longer represented by our government, just special interest.

The President is right when he termed the immigration bill an emotional issue. It had better be so emotional to every U.S. citizen that we would all contact our servants in Washington and voice our rightfully strong opposition to this Washington folly. It serves only the political pursuits of of our President and Legislators but destroys the integrity of our nation. Demand that the borders be closed immediately. We are being overrun by Mexicans and who knows but possible terrorists as well. Forget the useless fence. Lay a hundred-yard wide mine field along the entire border with adequate warning signs directing those who would seek legal entry to the appropriate citizen controlled inspection and processing stations. Our government lacks the will to deal rightly with this matter. We, the people, must compel them to do what,s right and best for AMERICANS.

Hell, you Washington DC people, all you have to do is enforce the laws that were written in 1985.
Or, don't you understand the word "illegal".
Makes one wonder about the selective enforcement of the laws in this country. Time to fire the lawyers and the legislators and start a fresh!

Why would we fall for this pack of lies, they already approved a bill for a monster fence which only two miles have been built?????? Bush should be removed from office. Secure the border first, then will talk about what to do with the 20 million illegals in this country.

I hope they don't cave in to this crappy plan. Illegal immigrants do not deserve any amnesty, they should be in prison, like Guantanamo Bay Cuba.
What a lousy President we have... He should enforce the laws and arrest the criminals.

What the hell is wrong with Bush. Is he trying to give 10 million votes to the Democrats.

Does anyone want the USA to be the USM (United States of Mexico)?? Seems like Bush does.

Send Jose, Manual and Consuala back to Mexico where they belong !!!!

The same old story. A president who will say anything to get what he wants, and we will have to pay the price if he does. This is an Amnesty Bill to get cheap labor for business, and put the burden on the American tax payer.Tell your Senators we do not want this bill, and will hold them responsible, if they vote for it.

I think we need a more permanent solution to the immigration problem. It can be easily accomplished by: returning Florida to Spain; Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California to Mexico; Louisiana, Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon to France; Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, can become a new Black/African American nation. Give Michigan to Canada; Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine to Quebec; and whatever is left over should be returned to the Indians. After that we should send George W. Bush to the Hague as a war criminal and traitor to the average American citizen.

Sorry, Mr. President, you have an ugly child. The American voters are not going to approve amnesty, and all congressmen know it. This ugly brainstorm of yours won't fly - you are only kidding yourself and you know it. Rejecting this bill is good, sound judgement and not emotional, as you have put it. Only you are guided by emotional inclinations and look where it got you - a very unpopular rating
. Why not try it the American way by simply enforcing all the laws now in place? Stop being 'pig-headed' and do something right for a change. Secure the border and deport all illegal immigrants and aliens - That's an order!
