Thank you, Mr. Hanson, he says, " They are rightly worried that when millions of impoverished arrive without legality, education and the ability to speak English, costly social problems follow."

An excellent article.

Dear Mr. Hanson,
I have just read your article,“In defense of critics of immigration bill.” You have captured our struggle. May I have your permission to send your article to my two senators, Kay Hutchison and John Cornyn? If these were times of newspapers, I would have used my scissors and cut it out. Put it in the mail and sent it off.

If I just send a link, they may not go to it. Who knows if it will be read. All I can do as a taxpayer is hope. In my clumsy way, I have faxed, emailed and phoned. Still, S1348, resurrects, as a monster of ole, threatening to harm our retirement, our son's life and our precious grandchildren. This so called bill, is cumbersome, it has not been sent to determine the cost to our nation. Oh, Mr. Hanson clearly you know. It is being forced upon us as if we were pheasants in ye ole England, with no say as to who, the great Lords, say we must wed. For surly we will be encumbered as much as wed to these masses and those to follow.

How is it, Sir, that law abiding people, who are chastised by city government when a weed, during a 'monsoon' period might raise it's height to twelve inches... are served photos and threats of fines if said offense is not corrected? Then those who enter our country deliberately avoiding lawful, respectful procedures, steal Social Security numbers or use fraudulent ones... these masses, are not only forgiven those criminal actions... Our own senators insist they be allowed to collect Earned Income-tax Credits. These "credits" earned while using stolen/fraudulent ID's... This is worse than amnesty sir, It is amnesty with a Reward Package.

Please consider my application to send Senators Cornyn and Hutchison your article,“In Defense of critics of immigration bill.” Thank you for your article.
