Congressional budget office: Minimum wage hike raises income for over 16.5M but cost 500K jobs

So, basically if the government determines that businesses must pay their minimum rate workers more money -- the federal government will be on the hook to provide not only Unemployment Compensation, but ALSO Obamacare SUBSIDIES for 500,000 more families.

Did they figure out what THAT cost to the government would be???

If the govt can dictate a minimum wage, there is nothing to prevent them from dictating a MAXIMUM wage.

Of course the idiots supporting minimum wage laws would never have to worry about reaching that maximum.

If raising the minimum wage is the solution to poverty, then why not make the minimum wage $1 MILLION per year?
