Judged: 4 3 1 I'm sorry there was such a thing as slavery, it's not human. Now, saying that, I can assure that, no matter how many generations you go back--no one in my family tree ever owned any. We might have been part of the slaves. As you know, they also had white slaves. Now right there could have been where part of my family was. There were some that just simply vanished off the face of the earth. I am so fed up hearing that crap, I wasn't there. I can't help what they did to the slaves. But, for God's sake, learn another song. This one is so damn old, all the gripping about slavery. I CAN'T HELP WHAT WENT ON DURING THAT TIME PERIOD. GET ANOTHER SOAP BOX TO SING ON. LET IT GO!!!!!! |

“This July 29 the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution that apologized to Black Americans for the inhumanity, injustice, cruelty and brutality of slavery and for Jim Crow segregation. The resolution was sponsored by Congressperson Steve Cohen from Tennessee. He is a white man representing a mostly Black district in Memphis.“
Would that be the same Steve Cohen who was excluded from the segregated, no-whites-allowed Congressional Black Caucus? I guess blacks figure any game white racists can think up black racists can learn to play. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0107/238... “As a white liberal running in a majority African American district, Tennessee Democrat Stephen I. Cohen made a novel pledge on the campaign trail last year: If elected, he would seek to become the first white member of the Congressional Black Caucus. Now that he's a freshman in Congress, Cohen has changed his plans. He said he has dropped his bid after several current and former caucus members made it clear to him that whites need not apply. "I think they're real happy I'm not going to join," said Cohen, who succeeded Rep. Harold Ford, D-Tenn., in the Memphis district. "It's their caucus and they do things their way. You don't force your way in. You need to be invited." Cohen said he became convinced that joining the caucus would be "a social faux pas" after seeing news reports that former Rep. William Lacy Clay Sr., D-Mo., a co-founder of the caucus, had circulated a memo telling members it was "critical" that the group remain "exclusively African-American."” |

When the Messiah gets elected we will all be apologizing for that in 4 years........a president with the middle name of Hussein. Might be time to find a new country because this one has gone to Hell in a hand basket!!!! |

JUST ONCE WROTE: "It happened..to keep mumbling about it will not change it...it is not slavery that present day blacks should be more concerned about, it is equal respect for dignity and worth. If there is any ill will, more recently. and closer to home, it should be about how blacks were treated from the end of the Civil War up until the 1960's. Again, presently it appears that the focus should be on dignity and worth and respect. Things that have to be earned". |

Judged: 2 1 1 White people are very sorry for slavery. But I wonder why African Americans aren't more thankful for it. Without slavery there would be very few blacks living in America today. Which for whites means none of the racial turmoi we have today. But for most blacks it would mean the difference between being like Obama's $1-a-day half brother in Africa or living far better here in America. |
