Do you want to discuss quotas? I was a victim of quotas but came to realize that there was a place and time for it. When our President was born, we were still under Jim Crow laws. Still, if you look at statistics, it doesn't get any better than being a white male in the USA. Today, the opportunities have become more equal than ever in history of this country, and it was because it was forced. I didn't like it, but I understand it.
Do you want to debate Social Security? Reagan passed the SSA of 1983. The 1983 Social Security amendments enacted hefty increases in the payroll tax in order to generate large future surpluses. As soon as the first surpluses began to role in, in 1985, the money was put into the general revenue fund and spent on other government programs. None of the surplus was saved or invested in anything. The surplus Social Security revenue, which was paid by working Americans, was used to replace the lost revenue from Reaganís big income tax cuts that went primarily to the rich.
So you can fellate the guy all you want, but you should know how history will see him after we die. My econ prof hated him, and he was a classical economist.(free market/ Adam smith apologist). Every problem has a begining, and you can pin the one we're in right now on him (and Clinton.)
Stop with the guilt crap. Trillions of dollars and more have been spent on making things right and we have people abusing the system set up and many who play the system have been paid off. After the housing collapse and no interest at the banks I am for myself first now after the thieves of that cess pool on the Potomic that satan spawned stole it. Tens of millions of people lost much of their wealth in this perpetual kiss azz culture that now lives by threats of riots if people do not get their way. A hundred programs or more are available for everything to uplift men and women out of poverty and yet much of the time they are used to subvert the system and cost the taxpayer mammoth amounts of revenue. Washington D.C. should be paved with gold by what the feds give it. I backed up those things you wrote but don't throw me bull about the absolute thievery of taxes from people. The press reports nothing of this. Only the local news shows bad crime but for ratings and is vague on words. I am tired of being told what I have and don't have. I know what I experienced and you and others are not going to take much more from us. Because you took most of it already. People are purchasing guns because they are worried. And frankly have been compassionate even with their problems. And the problems of the inner cities has spread its tentacles to many areas of America now.

I wonder who they invited to participate in the "roundtable discussion"? I'd be willing to bet that the majority, if not all, of those in attendance probably do not believe in the Second Amendment.

i don't know what kaine and biden is trying to pull. When biden made the comment: "We need more gun laws because we cannot enforce the laws we already have" (paraphrase); it's pretty clear he has already made his mind up.

That's a semi-lucid rant that sets up conditions for me to wonder if english is even your first language, and it's not a reply to any of the points from which I replied of to your previous post. You don't appear to understand who is taking what, and you seem to be misled about who is really taking it. I don't know what you have, but the fact that you're complaining about it suggests that you're whinning about not having enough, which does not set you apart from the envy class. If you want to complain to complain, have at it.
