Earmark moratorium could impact railroad project
The Rail Authority of East Mississippi has $1 million in a congressional appropriation for the proposed rail link from Waynesboro to Lucedale, but there is a problem, according to the authority's executive director.

If our government would quit having all these earmarks, I am willing to give up some projects. It has to stop one way or the other.

I agree Maudie Mae. It may hurt, but as you said, it has to stop somewhere. If it stops here, it must stop elsewhere.
