<quoted text>It is about the Ted (bridge to nowhere)Stevens case that took place under Bush. The justice dept appears to have hidden evidence. That is what got the case dismissed. Justice was also one of those departments that had been over loaded with Bush appointees. In order to keep the Department in one piece President Obama has pretty much overlooked their past transgressions under Bush. Remember Bush was turning DOJ into a political hit squad that was loyal to him personally. One of the questions on the DOJ application was “What is it about President Bush that makes you want to serve him?”. It was a serious question and carried a lot of weight in the hiring decision.
Why I liked Bush: I felt he protected America. He had guts! The other Countries didn't like him-they feared him. They like Obama because they can all relax and take a breather...

It was pointed out by some supporters of Obama that this case got started when Bush was the President. And they are correct.

Still, it is always the case in an institution as large as the DOJ, that there are partisans from different camps and with different agendas.

What is needed is that the Prosecutors in this case be vetted to insure this was not a POLITICAL HIT.

The damage caused by Stevens losing his seat is potentially ASTRONOMICAL, with the new Democratic Senator, Mark Begich, casting the deciding vote on Obamacare.
