Full story: Santa Cruz Sentinel

Former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's ever-evolving saga on the American political stage now has a direct connection with Santa Cruz -- or at least to one man in Santa Cruz.

Titles mean nothing, it's what you do with them. Honestly, what good has this guy ever done. People can rattle off titles all day long, it doesn't mean they ever do anything good with them.

My point was with the current issue's facing the governor & state. Anchorage residents tend to be much more informed then the valley. The valley is sort of the redneck section, fundamentalist Christians, who dont read about issues outside of abortion or homosexuals...I hate to stereotype but a good portion are like that. If you dont believe me read the Frontiersman on line, the local paper.
Are you really from there or are you just posting what you think people want to hear? You really do sound like an elitist snob: "I hate to stereotype BUT I'm going to anyhow..."

I just got through reading the Frontiersman. While the "Faith" section that has an interesting story, the many of the posts on the story are far from what you might call uninformed. The Sentinel has a "Faith" section as well, by the way.

The HuffPo's standards and credibility are somewhere less than zero.
That said, Geoff is clearly a smart guy who knows deep down that his demented progressive friends ruined Santa Cruz County.
By extension, he should also realize that Santa Cruz-style progressive ideals will wreck the country in the same manner.
So why he feels the need to continue to play the part of a left-winger is anyone's guess. Is it about social acceptance? Is he afraid of losing longtime friends?
It takes courage to buck Santa Cruz's rigid, conformist progressive social structure.
By contrast, cowards drink the Kool-Aid and play along while the region (and potentially the entire country) collapses.
thank you!
