He seemed destined to die this way. He escaped the one back in the 1978.

No hatred needed. As I wrote elsewhere, the dear Senator is crossing that bridge to hell that he spent most of his life and a lot of your taxes dollars building.

Poor guy. He'll be totally surrounded by lobbyists now.

Then he will see the murderer Teddy when he gets there! Along with the KKK Grand Wizard Byrd.

Talk about "poetic justice" (Stevens and the former Nasa guy die in a plane crash while on a "sponsored" trip of a defense contractor, obviously trying to buy/sell their "influence") As in life, as in death. Truly what goes around comes around.

Terrible just terrible he did not live to see the DEMS get about 64 seats in the senate and even more in the house. Terrible he did not live long enough to see the lives improved by the work of Pres Obama. Terrible he did not live long enough to see USA get out of the GOP started wars. Too bad he did not live just anouther 24 hours to see a big turnout for DEMs in today's primary.

This story not goimg to have very long legs. I predict that the PP will quickly run another hit piece on Sarah Palin or Bachmann to get the liberal progressive base stirred up again. And as usual, they will rise to the bait like an eelpout to a glow spoon and a minnow. And why wouldn't they? Same brain power.

No human being is going to live long enough to see any lives improved by the work of Pres Obama. Well, except Michelle Antoinette. Her life has improved now that we're funding her lavish trips to Europe.

Thank God we do not have the taxpayer footing the bills anymore for Ted Steven's health care and pension-for-life.

What a tax suckler. He gets full health and a pension while the rest of us lose everything to the banks and billionaires.

Ted Stevens lived for 86 years. Not a bad way to go, I think it's better than sitting in a hospital with a brain tumor. Sounds like he made some mistakes at the end of his political career. We let people stay in office to long and they get corrupted by the Washington culture.

Boy, he sure brought home the bacon. Kind of reminds one of Sheets Byrd in W. Va. Great legacy...stole someone's money and gave it to his homies. Sorry, I'm just not feeling it for this particular "loss".
