Two things going on here. This is one step towards Obama's creation of a one world order where there will be no secrets as well a no borders between people. Second, he just bought the vote of Hartman by getting her off the treason train in order to obtain his vision of a new world where there will be no wealth held by ordinary people except the political elite.

Well isn't that just beautiful! We are going to drop charges against spies (really Americans who committed treason, despite what the legal rulings would lead you to believe), but we're going to prosecute our CIA and military people who were keeping us safe from terrorists by obtaining information during interrogations........ ain't this country great?

There's no doubt that if you were to ever come across a real "skinhead" you'd turn into a puddle of mush if he (or rather, she) even looked at you. You liberal elites are infamous for your intolerance of others views and opinions and when you come across one you immediately start with the name calling. You people must get a real thrill out of name calling as your all so good at it. Is it part of your membership oath?
The U.S. collects data from many sources and from many countries. And has been for decades. The Liberty was collecting data on the '67 war in order to monitor both sides and determine the level of U.S. involvement should it become necessary (the U.S. was also conducting U-2 overflights and giving the data to the Israelis). The unarmed and defenseless Liberty was cruising off the coast of Egypt in international waters when it was attacked by Israeli jets causing heavy damages and casualties. The Israeli government claimed it was mistaken identity, apologized and made restitution.
Your version of what happened literally reeks of stupidity and ignorance. And your analogy what the U.S. would do to a British vessel in the same set of circumstances is stunningly moronic. However, your support of Israel's overt and covert abuse of the U.S. support, defense and friendship is equally moronic.

Now when is the justice deparment going to go after CAIR; a real threat to this country? Israel is an ally. CAIR is funded by and is the pubic relationsarm to terrorists.

I am a Conservative. I would stand up to any dripping p-u-s-s-y skinhead. If it or they decided to get violent, it would be their last day on earth.

yeah, Royko is a joke on these boards. He's just some anti-American Jew who can find no other audience, aside from these forums, for his dim-witted opinions. And even here, no one really cares about what he has to say.

Royko, I will gladly buy the tickets for you and all your dim-witted Skokie friends if you all would take a boat ride to your beloved poop-hole of a 3rd world nation called Israel. And all I would ask is that you do not return to the USA.

It is not so much buying Harman's vote but the scandal of a trial of a Democrat Congresswoman. If this had occured during WWII, Hartman, Weissman, Rosen and IAPC would still be serving time in Levinworth. Dragging in the U.S. Intelligence community and Secretary of State as witness has noting to do with the treasonist crimes they were charged with but rather a defensive ploy to back the government off.
