They should put the prosecutor in Jail and Stevens should sue him for everything he has in Civil Court.
Stevens can never be made hole no matter how much the lousy prosecutors are made to pay. The Election was stolen from Stevens because of this case.
This is the worst kind of political partisanship..using the power of ones office to effect the outcome of an election.

Stevens was guilty. He used his influence to get the conviction voided. He is the Chris Dodd of Alaska.

And the corruption goes on, as democrat prosecutors defame a disginguished 25 year Republican senator just before November elections, Al Franken steals MN election, and what hospital was Obama born in, and who was the attending physician? He's not even a natural born US citizen.

The most corruption free US government in history, yeah right. What a joke.

<quoted text>You must live in Pittsburgh to think something so stupid as Bush Administration prosecutors would go out of their way to unseat a Republican US Senator. These SOBs in the prosecutors should be sent to prison for a long time. And I agree with the previous poster who said Stevens should sue them for every last penny they have - which is probably a lot at this point. I can only imagine how large a bribe it took them to behave in this manner.
Evidence of a bribe? Otherwise shut up fool... It was Bush's "Justice" department that pressed charges... it was Bush's "Justice" department that took it to trial... It was Bush's "Justice" department that f'd it all up... It is Obama's "Justice" department that has to clean it up...

Try thinking for a change instead of listenint to Ruch Limpballs

Gee that is pretty irrelenvant, it would be up to her superiors to make the decision to take the case, hell to even investigate, Stevens probably pissed off Bush or Cheney one to many times.

Nice attempt at re-writing history, but I would have to say you failed.

<quoted text>Sorry, moron, those who are now under investigation are NOT presidential appointees. They're "career" prosecutors; in other words, not political appointees of either Bush or Obama. It should be noted, however, that the lead prosecutor in the case contributed to Obama's presidential campaign in hopes of advancing her own career. Now that she's screwed up this case but good, she'll probably be nominated for the next open seat in the Supreme Court by the same guy who named a tax cheat to be treasury secretary. Now, go soak your head in the Obama Kool-aid, dufus!
You really don't havea clue on how your government really works do you? Pretty childish and stupid there "Bill"

I have forgotten more about how government works than you will ever even pretend to know, loser. You Kool-aid drinking idiots will hold on to the Bush era forever as your crutch and use it to try to cover for all of your own mistakes. Sad to say, Bush isn't around to blame anymore, so you and Barry O'Bama will have to accept something that is clearly foreign to both of you - accountability. Now, go enroll in some high school freshman civics class.

Funny, if you take out the word "Bush" in your post and replaced it with "Clinton" you would have summarized the Republican platform for the last 9 years.

Gee, Princess, maybe in Oklahoma, but not in any of the political debates I've heard lately.

Well, ok there, Sugar Britches. You obviously wouldn't know a political debate if it bit you on your undeveloped manhood. For the entire Bush presidency, anything and everything that went wrong was blamed on the Clintons. 9/11? Oh that had to be Clinton's fault. Erosion of Constitutional rights perpetrated by the Bushies? That's nothing compared to a BJ in the Oval Office and a stain on a blue dress. Budget surplus? Clinton didn't do that because that was thanks to the fiscal brilliance of Poppy Bush. America was made into a divided nation because those evil Clintons smoked pot and not because of the ravings of the pinheaded pill addict Rush Limbaugh.

So, that being said, I stand by my assertions.

Sure "Bill" whatever you say... As another poster pointed out the Rethuglicans have been blaming everything on Clinton. Way after he left office... hell they still do, even though the blame rest squarely on Bush's shoulders. Now they blame Obama's administration, even though, again, it was bush's administration the screwed up. Then you have the audacity to mention accountability? OMG when has a republican taken responsablity or accountibility for ANYTHING they have screwed up?

Bill, maybe you should come out of your mommies basement now... reality is a lot different then what you "think".

Taken right out of the ACLU playbook. Too bad you can't think for yourself, and I've always heard that those who questioned others' manhood are themselves the ones who are lacking. Judging from your picture, you're at the very least, very confused.

I just won a five hundred dollar bet that he would never see prosecution, old politicians, any party, keep a little black box full of 'dirty laundry' on others, you don't stay in this game for forty years because of alien concepts to politics like fair play, integrity, and mutual trust, politicians are a breed apart(all parties) and are not to be confused with obedient law abiding citizens-why would any decent human being who can 'think' expect anything less from this obscure and separate breed.
