A verdict of not guilty means the accused is not guilty. But then there is O.J.

a shame justice has not been served for these residents and their family members lost to asbestosis and lung disease. i don't know how the officials of w.r. grace can sleep at night.

Big shots don't care about the "little guy", all that matters is a fat profit.
The same holds true for the proposed airport in Peotone. All that fuel, de-icing fluid, and other toxic runoff that will leach into the groundwater where all residents depend on wells is nothing more than a killer waiting in the wings. I'll bet Jesse Jr. sleeps well at night, though!

I would ask each and every person who posts negative comments about how this case was resolved to read the transcript of the proceeding. It will be publically filed. It took a jury of local Montana folks just 24 hours to come back with not guilty verdicts on all counts. Think about who is the little guy here..the US Govt or a company in bankruptcy.

Exposure to asbestos is a terrible thing.
My brother suffered several years before finally dying of cancer caused by asbestos. We don't know for sure where and when he was exposed, although everyone in the family has their theories.
It can take 30 years for the cancer to rear its ugly head.
There are plenty of ambulance chasing lawyers out there, so I'd sue the company for everything they can get.

Mike - You do - remember this classic......... right.

From Mike Crill:
"The day Justice is serve is when:
1.I cash my check from all them lawsuits pending.
2.Libby Mt. becomes condemned and no one allowed to move to Libby.
3.A fence put around Libby as a reminder of Corp.Murder
4.More people go to prison
5.And when the jury gives WR DisGrace a GUILTY verdict and I thank the lord, to be alive, to hear the verdict, and tell you all to kiss my ass.
There will never be Justice nor closure but what we learn from this,I hope for the better of man kind and those we leave behind...we have learned this lesson at such a price...human price."

..Any of them working out for you yet? Did not think so. Move on old man ..... All of your ranting and ravings on this and other web board could not even convince 12 of your fellow Montanans that Grace did ANY THING WRONG.

So help me understand something here.... I go to the link and the first paragraph says-
"Jeffery Camplin and Paul Kakuris believe that the beaches of Lake Michigan in Illinois, from Chicago up to the northeastern edge of the state, may pose one of the greatest environmental health risks in the country."

And here is where it get real confusing..... The people who are quoted in the above paragraph are WALKING ON THE BEACH!. Now how contaminated can it be when the people who clam its contaminated are AT THE CONTAMINATION SITE!

I don't think even Mike Crill is that stupid..... but who knows. So many people have been so wrong for so long its getting pathetic.

Its got to be hard on you to be so engrained in a belief that, in the light of day, no longer holds any validly. Look back on your life... you were wrong for so long you have convinced your self that you are right. Take some time ... go fishing and really review how badly you went wrong.

BTW - Its in "harms way" not "arms way" (see your last response). Maybe I was wrong - you would walk on an asbestos contaminated beach.
