Our Justice Dept became useless under the previous admin. They couldn't do anything right.

We stocked the Dept heads with friends of the Admin instead of putting folks with the right skills in place.

Guantanamo Bay cases were not brought to court because of all the mistakes, and fear of the inability to prosecute because of those mistakes.

Firing Justice Dept employees because of ideology.

Giving litmus test of party allegiance to prospective Justice Dept candidates.

And now, with something as simple as this open and close case, they screwed it up again.

Typical of how far off the path we went under the previous admin. From Brownie to Miers, bad choices lead to bad results.

Retry him for the crime he committed and dismiss the prosecutors who erred or file charges if criminal actions involved - then justice is served.

What a novel concept: holding prosecutors accountable for misconduct. I hope this leads to indictments.

It's hard to believe in America someone this ignorant has the right to vote.

Stevens was prosecuted under the Bush Administration, by prosecutors choosen by the General Attorney whom President Bush nominated.

Republican President, Republican Attorney General, and Republican choosen federal judge!!! Funny thing about this is that it was a "Democratic" Attorney General that dimissed the Charges.

I have personal knowledge Stevens has an evil side. Dealt with him some thirty years ago concerning downed aircraft that has never been found. All aboard assumed dead because of senator's under table deals. Stevens needs to be prosecuted by a system free of a hidden agenda and sent to jail were he and the prosecutors can tell old sour dough stories. The crime will be if DOJ doesn't do it the right and lawful way next time around. If Stevens wants to take me on then he should go for it. I know the truth and that is something Stevens will have a hard time to deal with.
