" Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida argued this morning on "This Week" that a key provision of the bill, the so-called "pathway to citizenship" for undocumented immigrants, would not give anything away".

Sure it does Senator, it gives or sells our American citizenship to 11 million illegal aliens that broke our Immigration Laws to get here!

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

It's sad when some politicians and segments of our population want to degrade our American Citizenship to the point where it has no value or meaning.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this."

-- Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy on the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986

DEMOCRATS ARE LIARS!

"The agreement we just reached is the best possible chance we will have in
years to secure our borders, bring millions of people out of the shadows and
into the sunshine of America"

Ted Kennedy -- Senator from Massachusetts
Member of the Democratic Party

The result are going reflect much larger figures and greater negative impact on Texas economy, now translate that state by state in varying degrees of negative economic impact the outcome would not be good for the entire country as a whole, that is why immigration reform should no longer be used as a political football any longer ,reform it mow.

Studies are meaningless. Most studies start with the desired outcome then work the numbers to justify that outcome. There are studies that come to the exact opposite conclusions.

I have read many of your posts and dismissed you simply as being misguided, but now I realize you are just a wet back supporting stooge who spouts off the standard BS the democrats use to justify letting this scum into the country. They are takers, liars, thieves, and criminals who are draining our economy. Deport them all if for no other reason they send 25 billion untaxed dollars to their families in Mexico. How about all the illegal aliens who took out mortgages they couldn't afford and crashed the housing market. Millions of Americans are still suffering because of their greed (and the lenders' as well). Round up and deport these lowlifes before it is too late. Feel free to join them since you obviously hate America so much.

No one can expect any better from some on your side of this debate you guys lashes out on every one even your own as their views changes in sync with reality.Love for America manifested itself when the desire to see her prosper together as one strong nation not by the clamoring of some who wants to create within superiority and inferiority among its citizenry by treating some as outcast as existed in some nations that we rightly criticized and opposed to.

Secure our borders first and foremost. Then, we'll discuss reform. We need to reform real laws that work, not encourage people to break our laws.

Giving amnesty to millions of illegal alien lawbreakers will not create any prosperity in this country. It will create the opposite affect.
Illegal aliens are outcasts because they broke our laws. Should we embrace them anyway?

Reagan was stupid to believe that people like Schumer would keep their promise to secure the border. They have no intention of enforcing any of S744s provisions either.

This is easy, ask Jan Brewer. Ask Joe Arpaio. Go the West L.A. When will truth seekers, suppposedly start telling the truth? Texans got used to illegals but even the rich folks who have used them see what it's doing to Texas...A 20 million or more sub-culture taking money out of this country to support Mexico is hopefully catching up all over this Country. Supporter of illegals do NOT realize how much they take, and give back nothing....

Those utterances were made time and time before towards other groups of immigrants but was proven to be so wrong and do not forget to remember that some of our very own ancestors were the subjects to those unfair abuses and without them being given a chance in life to be an American there would not have any for some of us.

I wonder if Pete the Democrat takes into consideration all the hidden expenses these illegal aliens cause. They displace American workers and depress wages, causing the taxpayer to pick up the slack. They use taxpayer money for medical care, housing, food and schooling. Many of them are in jail and that costs a bundle. They overcrowd every area they move into and stress the infrastructure. They have dirty, inconsiderate ways and they refuse to assimilate. They're the major players in drug and human trafficking. They are a MAJOR LIABILITY to this country.

Well, I refused to accept that any ones ancestors came here as criminals it has often times been a history where people were running away from atrocities hardship or famine but the fact is many who came during those times did not came here with a passport or a visa in it but were subsequently admitted here to stay and that has turned out to be a very good thing for this country since.

You can't compare 100 years ago to today. Back then you could rob a bank and then hide out in some cabin in the woods just mils away and not get caught. Today we have computers and instantaneous communication. We're more capable of detecting illegal aliens today and that's exactly what we should be doing. Considering their enormous cost to this country, they are a bad investment.

Sure we have all the technology to secure the borders and put in place an effective E-verify system or robots to work in the agriculture and dairy industries and other areas where illegal immigrants are finding jobs I will not argue with you on that, what I am saying is that until we can attain those goals the problem that exist before us today will keep festering we have to start some where and immigration reform is the first step in the right direction.

The problem we have today isn't the result of a broken system. It's the result of not enforcing our current laws. We should pass an Everify system and an improved internal tracking system for visa holders immediately. There is no need to declare an amnesty or overhaul the system. They should also get serious about securing our border and that means much more manpower.

Secure the Borders first, and then talk about the problem illegal immigrants bring. All i know is that if they get Amnesty-all republicans who voted for the Bill will not be re-elected.
