Pace Quickens on Budget Resolution

Oct 12, 2013 Full story: Wall Street Journal 25

President Barack Obama on Friday began working aggressively with House and Senate Republicans to shape a deal to raise the debt ceiling and fully reopen the federal government, signaling a quickening pace in discussions to end a political stalemate that risks a U.S. debt crisis.

I always sit up here (looking down my nose at the ignorant tea-baggers) telling you idiots to “NEVER BET AGAINST BLACK”; but every time, you idiots come on here proclaiming doom and gloom for President Obama; and each and every time you ignorant idiots go away with you tails between your legs. With the killing of Osama bin Laden and Health Care Reform all while pulling the economy from the brink of total collapse and republicans trying to push it back, history will show President Obama as possibly our greatest President.

Six weeks? Ridiculous.

From the article:

The day's events showed how the House Republicans' position has become substantially weakened in recent weeks, and how thoroughly Mr. Obama had gained the upper hand.

It's OK, the world thinks that he is weak and easy to manipulate. The people here have evidence that he lies to get applause.
The MSM is comfortable with this and AlJezz has bought its way into the television and cell phone of every person in your home.

Rayboy, you might want to see the non-applause being shown to the republican party:

In a recent poll doesn't it show by a 22-point margin (53 percent to 31 percent), the public blames the Republican Party more for the shutdown than President Barack Obama?

Seems the republicants need to up the applause meter.

running out of dead soldiers famalies to screw and forced to sign the bill he didn't want to sign so the widows could get death benefits. obama the great goes back into his worn out 'im not signing that' mode. soooooo petulantly predictable, the boy prez needs his woobie and binkie (paging jarrett) after taking the drubbing on his failed anti-military ploy.

The progressive solution is simple. Pass a perpetual, no limit debt ceiling, no spending reductions of any kind, and Obama will tell Harry Reid to pass it.

The debt ceiling is to be raised in order to pay down the money that the GOP already spent on their wars. They are essentially telling Obama to negotiate or they won't pay down their GOP debt. What kinda f*d up bargaining leverage of that. If I were Obama or any CEO, I would laugh at Boehnor and Cantor and Cruz and tell them not let the door slam them on their way out!

It's like my teenager coming to me and saying she won't pay her credit card bill unless I cut back on my spending!

And here I thought Obama has been President for going on FIVE years, wouldn't these be HIS wars by now? I'm kidding, I know Obama is not responsible for anything that has happened since he took charge. So what if the Democrats control 2/3rds of process, it's common knowledge Harry Reid is always willing to bring any bill to a vote in the Senate. Damn the minority.

The Bush GOP war debt is STILL outstanding. The TRILLIONS that the GOP racked up during the Bush years. Did you think it was paid off already? LOL...uh no.
