Why is this a shock? It happens every election
unless it's crucial to a vote...

The press and the politicians only haul out the troops when it's beneficial to their aims..

Ironic that the folks laying their lives on the line for democracy can't participate in their own elections.

Let's just toss them all in a big old Diebold machine and call up GOP headquarters and ask who won.

That's no worse than any other type of absentee ballot. They're never counted anyways unless the margin of difference is less than the total number of absentee ballots collected.

Well, obviously this means that McCain/Palin won the election and Barack Obama can be tried for treason for having the unbridled gall to be a Democrat. -NOT-

No worry, the Repubes give us new material to make fun of them each & every day. Cheney is the best thing that could have ever happened to the Dems; they need to put him on tv 24 hrs a day!

How many more seats will the Repubes lose in congress come 2010? I predict at least another 4 seats in the Senate will go to the Dems, plus a few dozen in the House. The more Cheney is out there, the more people are fleeing the Repube party.

Maybe Cheney & Palin will team up to run in 2012!

Depends on how many phony voter's ACORN can come up with...

Depends on how many people want the president to:
Fill my gas tank
Pay my mortgage because I live beyond my means
Give me free healthcare at the cost of someone else.
Buy me a car....

The thing that the more extreme elements in the GOP isn't considering is that now the bar has been set even higher regarding protesting a sitting president. It has now become acceptable to question a president's legitimacy based on just about anything and to even threaten a coup if certain things don't happen. So, when the GOP is back in office, as it will eventually be, it will have to deal with new, even sharper rhetoric that they themselves set the precedent for. Ironic, huh?

How about Palin and Miss California! Because Gawd knows that being hot means you can run a government, too!
Seriously, people are casting dirt on the GOP grave, that is a mistake. If the Democrats overreach, they are in danger of losing power. However, if the Really Right continues to use incindiary (sp?) rhetoric then they probably won't be elected back into power for some time.

And the DNC has the same problem..

Joe the plumber asked a simple question which Obama answered, but he DNC decided that wasn't enough and tore into his personal and financial history. Obama even haad to establish an anti-smear website...but the DNC didn't have a problem continuing to smear the GOP..

Sarah Palin: The DNC couldn't find anything on her immediately so they investigated her family
and relations.

They chastised her for her clothes the very same thing Michelle Obama is doing now.$540 dollar shoes to a charity event??

The DNC promised bi-partisianship but every time a bill fails the first time up Pelosi and Reid and Obama want to blame the GOP specifically despite the fact that they have the majority..

Every time an issues comes up on topix every liberal with half a mind and a keyboard decides to recount history and find someway to blame someone else..

It's enough, your average voter is tired. Tired of either party. Neither of which is concerned about the US taxpayer or their voting constituents. So while we moan, blame, and complain Congress runs the country into the ground and minority and fringe group dig their teeth in for more power grabs..

That wasn't me.
Joe the Plumber thought he was going to have his "gotcha" moment on national television. Wasn't a simple question, he was trying to one-up a presidential candidate.
Sarah Palin thinks the Earth is 6,000 years old: I have no problem with the media crucifying her.
Back to my point: since it's ok for the Right to talk openly of "taking the country back", and beating Liberals to death with baseball bats, it is now ok for the Left to do it, too. We are on the brink of violence, and that is just what Sean Hannity, Anne Coulter and their fans want. Now it's out in the open. Now it's acceptable.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Pisces

Someone is extremely headstrong and defiant today, and there's every chance that you're the one fitting this description. The more others are trying to make you behave yourself or do what they want, the more determined you'll be to do the exact opposite. Well, it is a Full Moon, and a lunar eclipse in emotional Cancer, so you're excused! Show them that you're an individual in your own right without going completely overboard about it, because that will cause trouble. Then once you've got all that off your chest you can relax and look forward to a really Happy New Year!
