Some of the Ummah mosques maintain armed militias. Others provide training in martial arts and guerilla warfare. Almost all operate beneath the radar of local, state, and federal law enforcement

On October 28, 2009, the FBI raided a warehouse and two houses in Detroit and arrested eleven Ummah members on charges of mail fraud,
the illegal possession of firearms, trafficking in stolen goods, and altering vehicle identification numbers. In the course of the raid on the warehouse, Luqman Ameen Abdullah, the ringleader of the group, opened fire on the federal agents and was killed in the ensuing gunfight.

Luqman Abdullah was the imam of the Masjid al-Haqq in Detroit, a mosque that was part of the Ummah network. He sought to claim a section of blight ravaged Detroit for his group in order to establish
a sovereign Muslim enclave governed by sharia (Islamic law). In his sermons, Imam Abdullah called upon his followers to launch an
“offensive jihad” against U.S. officials and to carry and use firearms.

Imam Abdullah, along with Kenny Gamble, was a founder of MANA. Another founder was Siraj Wahaj, an un-indicted co-conspirator in the 1993
bombing of the World Trade Center and imam of Masjid al-Taqwa in Brooklyn.

So…how did Gamble squeeze $1.6 billion out of Uncle Sam?

OBAMA GIVE $457,000 funding terrorists
Obama Crony Hatem Abudayyeh Has Been Raking in Taxpayer Money Despite Terror Ties

Remember Hatem Abudayyeh, Obama's buddy who has visited the White House and has been under investigation for funding terrorists?
Obama was able to funnel $70,000 to Abudayyeh's Arab American Action Network (founded by PLO propagandist and close family friend of the Obamas Rashid Khalidi) through the Woods Fund.
But that was peanuts; in the era of Hopey Change, the trickle of money has turned into a fire hose. Now we learn that Hate 'Em has raked in as much as $457,000 from taxpayers:

It can't hurt to have a likeminded friend in the White House.

Palestinian Pres Mahmoud Abbas: A Dangerous Man

OBAMA GIVES another 400 million of taxpayers money

Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas revealed himself. In the presence of Qatar’s rabidly anti-Israel Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa, and
alongside Hamas’ exiled Politburo chief Khaled Meshal, Abbas’ Fatah party signed a reconciliation agreement with Hamas, paving the way for
the formation of a Palestinian unity government. With the stroke of a pen, Abbas’ prior assertion that “there are no more differences between (Fatah and Hamas)” was ratified. Abbas now clearly and
officially considers, as a primary Palestinian aim, the annihilation of Israel.

And to alleviate all doubt (or misplaced hope), when asked the next day whether the reconciliation agreement would “moderate” Hamas, Political Bureau member Izzat al-Rishq declared:“The Palestinian
people maintain their right to all forms of resistance, and we are committed to armed resistance…to confront the..Zionist enemy’s plans.”

But the main conclusion to be drawn from the reaction to what can only be termed a momentous turn of events is something entirely different.
The lack of alarm or even much worry about the impact of Hamas on the peace process makes it clear not only is there no more peace process
to worry about, but that the Palestinians have made themselves irrelevant.

How should the Obama Administration respond to the news that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has signed a deal with Hamas to form a unity government? In 2009, Hillary Clinton was unequivocal. The U.S.“will not deal with, nor in any way fund, a Palestinian government that included Hamas,” said the Secretary of State, unless Hamas renounces terrorism and recognizes Israel But is that happening
I don't think so... by the way the United States is now pouring money into Gaza to all the terrorists, because that is what the Palestinians
are under the guise of humanitarian aid.

Seeks to help Muslims fulfill their obligations for zakat duties, an Arabic word that refers to obligatory charitable giving to other Muslims, including jihadists

Founded in 2001, the Zakat Foundation of America (ZFA) presents itself as an Islamic “international charity organization” that helps American Muslims nationwide carry out their zakat duties easily and correctly. Zakat, the foundation explains, is an Arabic word which refers to the giving of obligatory alms a duty that every Muslim possessing the designated minimal amount of wealth must fulfill in order to be in compliance with the “Third Pillar of Islam,” the requirement for charitable giving.

As Islam expert Andrew McCarthy points out, zakat, as defined through the centuries by leading Islamic scholars, is intended not for the benefit of “infidels” but exclusively for the benefit of other Muslims even if those beneficiaries are the families of “Palestinian suicide bombers and imprisoned al-Qaeda terrorists.” Central to zakat's “essential purpose,” McCarthy elaborates, is its effort to “fortify and extend the ummah Muslim community until all the world is Islam’s domain,” and to “underwrite jihad.” Yusuf al-Qardawi, the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, is cited by ZFA as a scholar whose pronouncements regarding zakat are particularly authoritative.

ZFA's charitable programs for needy Muslims fall under four major categories:
Emergency Relief: This program acts to alleviate the immediate needs of those who have been overwhelmed by catastrophe with the distribution of food packages, medicine, hygiene packages, and temporary shelter.

Seasonal Programs: These initiatives give Muslims the opportunity to give to those in need during the most blessed times of the year as according to the Sunnah (Traditions) of the Prophet, most notably the holy month of Ramadan and the three day period each month during which Udhiya/Qurbani (the ritual sacrifice of animals) is permitted.

Perpetual Charity: ZFA's Sadaqa Jariyah (perpetual charity) program focuses on “efforts that empower communities to lift themselves out of poverty” and to develop long-term “self-reliance” that “decreases community dependence on outside aid.” Key initiatives within this program include the construction of “hundreds of wells” in order to ensure dependable access to clean water; education and skills training that will help people acquire the expertise “needed to ensure permanent access to the basic rights of food, water, shelter, health, work and dignity while addressing the roots of chronic poverty and hunger”; “equal access to basic healthcare services so that men and women will be healthy enough to support their families and so that children can thrive and attend school regularly”; the construction and renovation of mosques, schools, homes, health clinics, and orphanages; and the extension of microcredit “small, interest-free loans to those in poverty” so as to “facilitate entrepreneurial efforts” and promote “socioeconomic development.”

ZFA's work takes place not only in the U.S., but in 46 countries on five continents. In 2009, fully two-thirds of the foundation’s charitable disbursements were directed toward Sub-Saharan Africa.

In 2010, the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) endorsed the Zakat Foundation as an organization with “a strong history of immediate and effective responses to national and international disasters.” Several ZFA promotional videos make the group's ties with ISNA more explicit. In July 2010, ZFA attended ISNA's 47th annual convention.

ZFA also supports the Muslim Students Association of the U.S. and Canada (MSA), for which the foundation has prepared guides on such topics as “How to Start a Successful Halaqa religious instruction Group in Your Masjid,”

Three ways to tell if a muslim charity supports Jihad

The Chicago-based Zakat Foundation of America, a 501©3 non-profit, was founded in 2001, and presents itself in a benevolent light:

Does the Zakat Foundation of America merely help, in an innocent charitable way,“the poorest people” or is it a front for jihad? Part
of the answer comes in the identity of the Muslim thinkers the foundation promotes. Chief among them is Yusuf al-Qardawi, spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood who in 2009 declared his hope that before his death, even if he was wheelchair-bound, he would be able to “shoot Allah’s enemies, the Jews, and they will throw a bomb at me,
and thus, I will seal my life with martyrdom.”

Another answer comes in the organizations with which the charity is associated. A number of organizations in the United States have
already been identified as Muslim Brotherhood front groups by the FBI.

The Zakat Foundation of America works with at least two of the 29 groups the bureau has specified as falling into this category—the
Islamic Center of North America (ISNA) endorsed the Zakat Foundation as an organization with “a strong history of immediate and effective
responses to national and international disasters” and featured in several of the Zakat Foundation promotional videos. The other Muslim
Brotherhood-affiliated group the Zakat Foundation collaborates with is the Muslim Students Association (MSA), having designed printed
material guiding MSA activists on “How to start a successful halaqa group in your Masjid,”“How to Help Neighbors in Need,” and “Starting a Food Pantry.”

Finally, there is the question of how the Zakat Foundation distributes its funds. The Caipirinha Foundation, the charitable organization
created by anti-Israel documentarian Iara Lee and her billionaire husband George Gund III, utilized Zakat as a fiscal sponsor for a grant to the Foundation for Human Rights and Freedom and Humanitarian Relief (IHH). The IHH is part of the “Union of Good,” an umbrella
coalition of Hamas-affiliated organizations led by Qaradawi. The Foundation supports the IHH’s efforts to disrupt Israel’s self-defense, describing last year’s controversial flotilla as a
“heroic effort.”

Given these intimate connections to radical figures and Muslim Brotherhood fronts, it’s safe to characterize the Zakat Foundation of America as another component in the jihad.

Thanks to U.S. taxpayers, an Islamic enclave is being carved out of the heart of the City of Brotherly Love. And how generous have you been with your tax dollars? You just gave $1.6 billion for the privilege of turning over all this cash to the Islamic community.
The person doing the carving is Kenny Gamble, the author of such hit songs as “Love Train” and “Me and Mrs. Jones.”

So far Americans have shelled out $1.6 billion in federal grants, loans, and “charitable” gifts to create an alleged “Muslims-only” community.
A convert to Islam, Gamble, now known as Luqman Abdul Haqq, is affiliated with the National Ummah Movement which seeks to establish sovereign Islamic enclaves ruled by shariah (Islamic) law within major cities throughout the U.S.A. The movement was started by Jamil al-Amin (the former H. Rap Brown), who is now serving a life sentence at a maximum security prison for killing two police officers in Atlanta.
Gamble managed to collect the $1.6 billion through Universal Company, a so-called “charitable organization,” which he formed in 1993. Gamble and his spokesmen say that the non-profit company provides a public service by cleaning up a blighted section of the south Philly, but local residents say that Universal has really used the $1.6 billion to create a Muslim ghetto. This allegation is supported by Gamble himself. Speaking to his fellow Islamists, the former songwriter quipped:“We are not here for Universal, we are here for Islam.”
The proof is in the pudding. The 800 block of South 15th Street now contains the United Muslim Masjid, an Islamic center, and a madrassah (charter school). All of these organizations have been created and sustained by Gamble’s enterprise. Rotan Lee of the Philly YMCA says:“You look up and down the street and see men, women and children in traditional Muslim dress everywhere; you see the masjid right across from Kenny's house and security guards on the corners in kufis.”
On the website of the Muslim Alliance of National American, the directors of Gamble’s company made the mistake of betraying their true intent by saying:“By the Blessing and Mercy of Allah (SWT), the efforts of Universal Companies serve as a national model for what can be done with commitment, compassion, focus and careful planning and execution. Just another proof positive of the words of the Qu’ran where Allah (SWT) states:‘Let there arise from among you a small group of people, inviting to all that is good. They enjoin the good, and forbid the evil, and it is they who attain success.’(3: 104).”
Proof of Gamble’s ties to National Ummah Movement was provided by a conference call from Jamil al Amin to the United Muslim Masjid., a mosque G founded on 15th Street. A transcript from the mosque reads as follows: ".A highlight of one meeting was when we had Imam Jamil Al-Amin on speaker phone talking to us from his Georgia prison. MANA (Muslim Alliance in North America ) and its members have raised and donated several thousands of dollars to his family and legal defense team. Imam Jamil has recently been transferred to a "supermax" prison in Colorado, and we ask that you make du'a for him." [source]

Further proof of the Ummah connection comes from Gamble’s role in the creation of theMANA, an organization formed to free Jamil al-Amin from federal prison and to advance the Islamic take-over of the United States by “cultural jihad”-- pushing for black/Muslim privileges under the guise of equal opportunity and civil rights.
