Dave DePue and his fellow so called christian travelers should be banned from the Kansas Statehouse and legislature. The last section of the article says it all. We Better Watch Who We Grant Access to the Statehouse.
See below
Prayer at the Capitol in Topeka allowed politicians and others engaged in volatile debate to direct their energy in a positive way, DePue said.

"We don't know what else to do,” he said.“We could anguish, but instead we pray."

DePue said caution had to be exercised when granting access to the Statehouse. Members of Westboro Baptist Church who picket funerals to express opposition to homosexuality would likely be turned away, he said.

"That's not the kind of religion we're talking about," DePue said. "We're talking about the good Samaritan kind of religion where you turn the other cheek."

He said adherents of Islam, who consider the Quran to be verbatim word of God, shouldn't assume the Capitol was open to them.

"They can apply," he said. "The main concern would be security. Probably that would be a valid reason. With security, if they felt it was an insecure situation, they would be told no."

This is not separation of church & state.
