Yes he was! His associations with Queen Nancy and Barney didn't help. Also, nowadays, there IS no such thing as a conservative Dem.

No reason to be disappointed. Travis did exactly what I thought he would do. He is a committed liberal.
What surprised me the most is him whining about people being rude. He lied his a$$ off to get elected then he goes and votes with Pelosi and Barney Frank 81% of the time and no one is supposed to say anything about it. The Daily Journal covered for him as best they could but in the end his voting record got him.
It was a fluke that he won in the first place. The political climate was just right and the Republican nominated a really weak candidate. Travis is just kind of an empty suit.

Well I find it embarrassing to hear on today's national news that Booneville Hardware, Booneville, Mississippi is one of the earmarks attached to the bill currently making its way thru congress. Could there be much doubt as to who stuck that in? Taken by itself it doesn't sound like much money, but all these stupid earmarks add up. Hello! The country is already broke, begging, borrowing, stealing and printing money, adding to our indebtedness to potential enemies. This spending insanity has to stop or we are LOST!

Well, at least Harry Reid finally saw that this wasn't going to work as planned, so he withdrew the Omnibus....

Travis Childers did a good job for us here in Prentiss Co.. Unfortunately he was affiliated with the wrong political party at the wrong time. He is a good man and will probably be in politics again.

Down Home, I agree Travis is a good man, but not a good congressman! I was excited to have someone I know be elected, but he let us down greatly!

I agree Diva; he wasn't a good Congressman. Anyone claiming to be any kind of conservative wouldn't vote for Queen Nancy as Speaker.....

He needs to read his bible and take a real long look at the decisions he should have made.

He owns the Landmark! He loves his wife very much....He is a good man even though he don't pay his hands much there. He don't have any insurance or benefits to offer them either, but other than that he is strickly a family man.

If he is such a family man why dont he take better care of his employees at Landmark...and also how does a man who was in a elected office like the Congress seat he had still own and operated a Nursing Home seems like to me being in that office a person would not be able to have personal gain from a nursing home but was very convinent for him he is two faced as they come and now hes trying to support Tommy Cadle for House of Reps. District 3 so he can hope to keep his hand in Poltics...I think Prentiss County has had enuff of Travis Childers my self.
