When I saw this bloomturd hoopla the first thing that came to mind was, "inside job." Gun control was water under the bridge so why in the sam hell would someone waste a stamp on a slug like bloomturd? It raised suspicions especially with his lengthy trails of libel and propaganda which included anti-gun actors who profit from movies with gun violence. Perhaps he needed something to reignite a fading cause?
Nonetheless he's a very angry little despot after losing the big gulp case and gun control in the Senate so he's desperate and by all past accounts the man is mentally ill and needs help.

I think this is a way to get the people’s minds off of all the scandals. It won't work. Too many lies have been told and 5 dead Americans - 4 at Benghazi and one Border Guard.

The latest news report says an E. Texas man is in custody. Supposedly turned in by his wife who found a jar of funny looking stuff in their refrigerator and some pertinent information on a computer. The man is ex-army and employed by the Defense Dept. and has 5 kids...Reporting is all over the map however a bit of the letter has been released. In a nutshell it talks about protecting one's family and shooting gun grabbers in the face. The kicker is no one in Texas, etc. is effected in any way by the deranged bloomturd or b. h. obama so where in sam hell is any real motive for such a drastic measure and waste of postage? Second, no ex-army aims to shoot intruders in the face when center mass is ingrained in their training.
Reports note the family had been in their current residence only two years so perhaps the man is a disgruntled ex new yorker or with 5 kids perhaps one of them could have sent what sounds to be an immature letter?

It's giving bloomturd a lot of fresh press for what was a dying gun grab scheme. He covers his intentions under the guise to stop gun violence, etc. And after he's through confiscating firearms that belong to the law abiding I'm sure he'll eventually make good and get to a few token guns from criminals, etc.
What's been on the news thus far shows the letter-man as having a nice home, nice job, nice family, etc...everything but motive. Someone already plowed the letter sending field a month or so ago so it'll be interesting to learn more. Nonetheless it's helping move the mountain of sleaze surrounding b. h. obama to back burner...and that's always assisted by ho-hum overly polite RINOs.

Dearie, ricin letters should be a "scandal" to anyone with half a brain - perhaps those without the half brain do not believe it is
partisan enough, grandstanding enough and witch hunting enough for those with the faux outrage.

God, have mercy! don't recall Bush ever getting a ricin letter. But then he wasn't destroying our constitution or our country.

You are correct. Anyone sending these types of letters should be put in GITMO as a terrorist and stupidity to think the President is going to open his own mail after several attempts have been made.

In reference to the last sentence in your post, I suggest you read the Patriot Act.
